Not only is it annoying me every one else almost seems to have their phone or it's on the way but now I'm getting an email every minute telling me!
I keep losing threads if I unfollow and forget about them.
Might end up with an iPhone plus when I'm shopping on Fri at this rate. My mum is waiting on my N5

Ordered my 64GB Aluminum Nexus 6P on 11/1, it shipped 11/2 and will be in my hands on 11/5! Wanted the frost 64, but it was never in stock :(

Seems like the 64Gb Aluminum are moving... Ordered Oct 9, early am PST... was in pending purgatory and within in the last hour went to processing, and now showing a charge for the full amount. **fingers crossed** waiting to see a shipping email.

Exactly the same here, 32 GB Aluminum. I made my order Oct. 19th though. So the Fi orders must have always been at the back of the line from the beginning. Wonder if they are buying time so they can figure out what kind of protection plan they will offer. But seems like a lot of Fi phones going out on the 9th... hoping sooner.

I wonder if they are short of SIM kits for these phones so they are keeping closer to the promised date...

I thought about that, too, and mentioned it to CS when I chatted. Would think if that was the case they would be using that excuse right from the start for the Fi orders.

I also ordered from Fi on 10/19, 32 GB Graphite. It's been "Preordered" status with an estimate of November 26-30. I really drew the short straw -_-

Did you get an invite or did you make your order with the 1 day deal where they were letting everyone sign up? I just happened to get my actual invite I had been waiting weeks for that morning and ordered at 9:47am(CST) before I saw they were going to do that 1 day sign up free for all. Not sure when they actually opened the doors for that.

Edit: I now remember that the Graphite had an extra week or longer wait and that was why I went with Aluminum, too.

I got the invite that morning, same as you. I saw they had the one day open enrollment promo later on and figured that's why I got the invite. I didn't see any delay on the graphite as compared to other models, but I may have just not noticed.

I talked to the Fi chat support earlier. The support contact opened by offering the $25 credit others have mentioned. I asked about other models on the Play store being available sooner. She told me that I can't change models on my order to get it shipped sooner, that I have to cancel my order and place a new one (though I can still get the Fi service). She then told me if I cancel and order an available model that I'd forfeit the $50 Google Play credit AND the $25 consolation credit for the delay, no exceptions.

Total #firstworldproblem, but I feel like I'm being punished for choosing the wrong color (which I don't even care about, they all look fine).

When I talked to support a few minutes ago this is what he said about fi orders:

Michael K 2:30 PM
Your device was pre-ordered. The device is spoken for, by you. We just don't have it ready for you yet. The Project Fi folks, send you out additional information with your devices. It may be why they were always quoted a bit farther out than normal orders.

I ordered 64GB Aluminum on 10/3.. went to processing 11/2.. It has always had expected date of 11/12-11/16 but the guy said it should be shipping by 11/9.

So Project Fi are being held on preorder longer than Play Store orders for the SIM kit or something else?

This forum has made me crazy with any delays.
Frost ordered 9/29. Stated will leave warehouse by Oct 30 for Nov 3-10. Finally received a shipping notice from google yesterday. Today worked from home and checked my mailbox periodically. Received an update stating the package was delivered. However no package was at my door. Called Canada Post and they suggested I try calling their hotline number to open a ticket. Did that and the CSR told me to just wait till tomorrow and if no package arrived then to have Google open a ticket with them. Well 1HR later my package was delivered. All I needed was patience.

My only concern with the Frost is the backing feels cheap almost a little to soft. Lets hope it holds up.

Goodluck to all.

I've chatted with support 4 or 5 times and they have never offered me the $25. I haven't asked, nor do I want it since my original ship date hasn't come yet. I just like bugging them about it since the first time I chatted they said it should ship the next day. 2nd chat the guy accused everyone on every forum of fabricating stories about newer orders shipping before preorders. The last chat confirmed that Fi orders have a separate inventory even though they ship from the same warehouses and he also acknowledged that something isn't right with the newer orders processing and shipping before preorders.

Written statement from an email I received from them about the 128GB Frost, I just canceled my order, and I'm now trying with the 128GB Graphite "in stock" at least I will get the color I want with the Nexus Protect either way now.

I checked, and we do have Graphite 128GB, Nexus 6P's, that if ordered now, would leave the warehouse by November 12th.

We are currently waiting on inventory to complete your current order. If you’d still like to receive your order and don’t need to modify anything, you’re all set, and your order is expected to ship November 13th.

If you’d like more details, please read through our Change or cancel an order article.

Thanks!

Hi friends,
Final post on this thread is to let you know how my 6p preorder ordeal went. Ordered graphite 64 on 9/29, and it went to pending mid-october. Early November I got fed up and ordered a 64 aluminum which went immediately to processing, then shipped, and arrived moments ago. From "buy" to "here's your package" was under 48 hours. Meanwhile, the graphite one...well, now it's been canceled so the world will never know.

looks like those who have ordered from Huawei direct are also getting delivery issues judging buy the chat on the forums. Root cause possibly linked to manufacture however google wont admit this? I think we should start a twitter campaign of sorts. How about #Googlewheresmy6p.

Huawei sent me email last night saying my order was being shipped and they would send another email with tracking. Haven't got that yet. This was originally ordered 10/1, Graphite 32GB.

Ordered a 64gb Aluminum on 9/29 minutes after the page went live. Went from Pre-order to Pending a week and a half or so ago, then Processing late last week. Received yesterday. No rhyme or reason, just how it went.

Ordered: 128GB Graphite and 64GB Frost within two minutes of being live on Google Store. I have been in "Pending" ever since with November 2 ship date unchanged - no email about a delay or a $25 refund - no charge to my card - and zero updates at all. Chat support on the Google store says "It looks like this order was estimated to ship yesterday." Hahaha I see they can read just like I can.

Oh well. Guess we will see what happens.

Edit: Google representative went on to say: "I don't have exact info to estimate when that order might ship so I'm not able to say when they might be delivered."

That is almost laughable.
