How am I getting mine before you? I ordered my 64 GB Graphite on 11/2 and it will be delivered on Monday. Would have it today but FedEx won't deliver on Saturday.

So I got the shipping notice on the aluminum 64GB I ordered this weekend, and it will be delivered to my house tomorrow. Graphite 64GB I ordered on Oct 4 is still pending but within the window of "leaves warehouse by Nov 5". I called google CS and asked about the return policy, and they confirmed that if I use the aluminum and decide to return it within 15 days I just need to pay return shipping. The CS also said that I can call CS back, and if I decide to keep the aluminum I can ask to have the $50 google play credit (for my graphite that is still pending) transferred to the aluminum, if I want to just cancel the graphite order. Interesting.

I'll see how the aluminum looks with the cheap all black case on it. If I am ok with how it looks then I may try to just get the credit transferred. Still kind of aggravating, but at least I have a backup plan now.

EPILOGUE: So I have been using my 6p Aluminum this week and loving it. Spent some time setting it up the way I like it. I got the shipping notice 11/5 on the 64GB graphite, which was a preorder from 10/4. The graphite arrived yesterday and so did a separate email with the $50 google play credit - which I promptly applied to my son's gmail account as an early birthday present. I called google CS service today and asked about returning the graphite I received, and specifically about whether or not I would get to keep the $50 google play credit. The answer was "I don't see why we would cancel or take it back, especially since you've redeemed it." Okay, not exactly a confident-sounding answer, but the best I would get out of this guy. I told him to proceed with the return on the graphite (for which the shipping box has not even been opened).

Two minutes later I get the email with the info for returning the graphite, containing general info, an RMA label to print and put in the box, as well as a shipping label for UPS. Here is part of the email message:

Once we receive and inspect your returned device, we’ll send a refund to your original payment method within 14 days.


Several factors may affect your refund amount:

We’ll deduct the original shipping and handling charges
The item and all accessories must be returned in like-new condition
We may deduct fees for damages or missing components
We may reduce the return value by the promotional credit amount, if you used a promotion code

I didn't like the statement "We may reduce the return value by the promotional credit amount, if you used a promotion code" so I called CS back and spoke to another guy. He also didn't know the policy on whether or not we can keep the google promotional code if we return the device that was preordered. He typed up the question to an "escalation supervisor" while he had me on the line, and the response he got back was vague enough that he recommended I keep the graphite (to which the the google play promotion was attached) and return the aluminum I've been using for 4 days. So, that is what I am doing. Opened up the graphite, transferred the nicely wrapped cables to the aluminum box, factory reset the aluminum, and packaged it up. The graphite is all set up now just like the aluminum was and the aluminum will be sent back early next week. I do like the graphite color better, more to my taste, so I am only out the time spent on this. Not sure if they will charge me for the return shipping.

Just FYI in case anyone else is in the same boat as me with the delayed preorders. What a pain in the ****. Now I am really, truly done on this thread, peace!
 
im getting really pissed at this point with Google. i love the company, but someone needs to be fired for huge mix up with my order. So i ordered my Nexus 6P 128GB Graphite on 9/30. I never received a delay email. it was supposed to arrive 11/5. i had a couple friends and coworkers get theirs a week before mine was supposed to come in. so i called google. first call the guy said it was processing. the second time i called the guy said it was about to be shipped at 7 pm my time. if i didnt receive a email he told me call back. so for a third time i called and the lady on the phone said they are out of stock and dont know when they are going to get some in. WTF you said it was about to be shipped. a day goes by and my dad calls me today saying that he ordered the same 6P 128gb graphite around 10/22 and he just received his today. GOOGLE WHERE IS MY PHONE????????

I SWEAR I FEEL YOU BROO I ORDERED A 64 GB Graphite on 10/5 and was expected to ship three days ago. Not one email from google.

At this point you should have canceled an reordered like everyone else. Google has handled this terribly.

I received a 64gb aluminum ordered 10/2 tuesday. It had the bulge so I did an RMA for another one and received it Thursday. Clearly preordered phones are being screwed. Again, cancel and reorder seems to be the move.
 
I wonder if the problem is with the graphite and frost models in particular or just all pre-orders in general. I placed my order for the 64gb Alum on 11/04, charged and processed on the 5th and shipped on the 6th. I'm expecting delivery on Monday 11/09. Don't know what the deal is at Google but hopefully they will take care of all you guys having to wait ridiculous amount of time to get your phones. I'm anxious just waiting for Monday to roll around, I can't imagine how you guys who placed your order over a month ago and still have not received your phones must feel!
 
Any idea how often inventory gets replenished? Waiting on the 128 GB aluminum to become available. It's available on the huawei site but says shipping early to mid December. What gives?
 
I order my 6p on the 11/2 from hauweis store the email told me that the order will remain in "processing" until 11/12 when its supposed to ship. What do you guys think of this?

I had ordered a Nexus 6P Graphite 64GB w/Nexus Protect 10/5 which was projected to process over 2 weeks ago!!
Today i've decided to re-order and cancel my other order.
I re-ordered the same Nexus 6P 64GB w/Nexus Protect and is expected to arrive 11/13-11/16 w/ 1 day shipping.

Ordered Sep 30th. Initial estimate Nov 5th-9th for delivery. Nov 5th I chatted with support and the rep told me that he would forward my case to the shipping/returns department. An hour later I get the delay email with an updated estimate of Nov 7th-14th. It was the one that promised free expedited shipping upgrade and $25 credit. Today, I received this:

No $50 credit yet though...
FWIW, I got the $50 credit redemption e-mail early this morning. I now have the credit in my Google Play account.

I also received my Spigen Rugged Armor TPU from Amazon today. The case is a very nice matte TPU and doesn't look / feel like it'll add bulk to the phone.

IF you are not processing I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you re-order your phone. I just canceled my un-processed order then i bought the phone again and I got processed a hour later 27f4092e2bc14d05898970d81641d1a9.png
 
Ordered 64gb Graphite on 10/30. Currently "Processing". I leave for vacation on 11/12. I hope the phone comes in before then, cutting it close...
 
so frustrating!

my 128GB aluminum has been pending since 10/2; was supposed to ship by 11/5.

i just ordered a 128GB frost today (Saturday) and the charge has already shown on my cc and the status is already processing.

i'm not sure WHAT google is doing - i've preordered every phone i've had for the past 2 years (upgrading every 6 months) and this is the first time i've had to jump though so many hoops.
 
That actually doesn't sound right. From what I've heard, if you placed an order on Huawei's website after 10/22, your order will ship in *late* November. And if you place an order right now, the estimated shipping window is "Early to Mid-December".
