The aluminum is sexy af. I think the black 6p looks kind of basic... But honestly I'd stay away from it just because the finish scrapes off too easy. I think the aluminum will prove to age the best.

There have been reports of it scraping off? I'm going to have a black case (spigen rugged armor) over it anyway so I'm not sure if the colors even matters to me at this point.
 
I'm not one to rant but I finally received my 6p Friday after ordering on 9/29/15. I call Sprint to activate my phone but I need the sim card and they don't have any. Sprint direct me to a local store that supposedly have 16 in stock. Drove to the location and they tell me they don't have any sim card for this phone and should receive some Wednesday. So I look at my beautiful frost white from time to time checking to see if any imperfections are spotted. I see some have issues with crack screen on the back but I've not seen that on mine. I have to say this is one nice looking phone and I can see myself going a few years with this bad boy.

Well I am excited, after fearing that I would have to wait until sometime around Christmas to get a 6P I got my order in on Saturday, and it is supposed to ship early next week. Honestly I wasn't even planning on buying it so suddenly but I logged onto the Google store just for grins on Saturday and there it was, in stock. So I crossed my fingers and submitted the order and it went right through. I am ecstatic, I keep worrying that I was just imagining or dreaming that I was actually able to get an order in and I am going to wake up any moment now.

64GB Graphite. Ordered 10/30 and went straight from processing to shipped overnight last night! Cancelling the Huawei order from 10/20...worth paying the tax to get it sooner cause my current phone is potato.
 
PSA!! The 64GB Frost is currently in stock! Ordered mine Saturday and should be getting in btwn Nov 18-20!! now showing shipped! Will be here today!

hello everyone. i posted earlier my story on page 208 for some reference. so i been in contact with Google everyday since the 5th( when my 6P 128 graphite was suppose to ship). they have given me the same story that they are out of stock which is crap. i have order a duplicate order this morning. Hopefully my second order will come faster. i still have my original order from sept 30. i have never been so frustrated.
 
Quick update on my 64GB order placed on Oct 30th. It went into processing on Saturday night with my card being charged. It shipped this morning and Google updgraded me to overnight shipping FOR FREE!!!! I'm glad I waited to order as now I know what to expect when my phone arrives. I chose the free shipping option when I checked out and was upgraded for free. It sucks for the people that actually paid for that but I am happy with my purchase. Sucks that my case and screen protector will not be delivered until the end of the week.

This is the weird crap that's making people go bonkers. Mines processing still 5 days after my card was charged, and still no change of status to shipped or email with tracking. Others ordered well in advance of us and still don't have a phone and there orders are still pending. Some order apparently the same day I did and 4-5 days later have there phone. Then some never get a shipping notification until after they received there phone from UPS.

Just updating the group. Graphite 64GB ordered 10/8. Received shipping email today.

Coincidently I was on chat with support inquiring as the status was processing for quite some time. The CSR had no clue and basically told me nothing other than they had no way to tell and if the date it was scheduled to arrive passed they would notify me then. As she is typing this I get an email saying it had shipped. I guess the CSR didn't have the latest information or just didn't feel like looking when they put me on "hold" to check.
 
As one of the random luckly people who ordered and got one 2 days later.... I can tell you the phone is worth the wait. Just hang in there!

As I continue to sit at pending for a 64 Frost I ordered a F***ing month ago. I would cancel and reorder but ive already been promised 50 bucks from play store and a 25 dollar discount for the delay. This is getting really old. Guess we are chattin it up with support again today.

When I finally do get my phone it better be immaculate. All these issues that are creeping up (whether widespread or not) have put me on the edge about it. I REALLY hate second guessing a 700 dollar purchase.

EDIT: So apparently if what CS said is to be true, my order was waiting on the USB C charger that I also ordered on the same order as the phone.

Don't wait on the store. Call them. FORCE them to mail you a SIM....and the correct SIM....and overnight it! Read this thread for valuable info

That what just happened to me.. I called CS to see about my order and if it has shipped out or if anything else they could tell me since it been in processing and they were not helpful one bit
 
I think they're lying to you. I ordered a Frost 64gb on 9/30, still processing without any accessories. I'm on the line with CS and they told me that my order would ship AND arrive to me today. How ridiculous is that? It's nearly noon here on the east coast. Other than that, they have no answers.

Edit: I guess that's what it took. I had a long and frustrating conversation with a superviser and explained how ridiculous it is that they think they can ship my device by 12pm today and have it arrive to me by tonight from IL to the East Coast. He was unable to help me out at all. Litterally 2 minutes after the conversation, I finally get an email saying it is now shipped. Complete and utter ridiculousness. For any of you waiting for your Frost 6p who ordered the first or second day of pre-order, talk to a superviser and escalate the issue so they are aware how frustrated we are as customers.

I have been following the thread for awhile, so I feel an obligation to register and comment on my current status.

Ordered the 64 Frost on 10/2.
Received the "We are sorry email" last Thursday night.
Went to Processing Friday morning.
Received the shipping email just now.
My estimated delivery is Wednesday.

Some of the happiness is gone. The articles about the back glass cracking have left me wishing I had purchased Nexus Protect. I may look into Squaretrade. Never purchased insurance for a phone before, so that aspect would be new.

Oddly enough when I ordered the 64 Frost, it had a shorter lead time than the other two colors. I liked all the colors and couldn't make up my mind, so I went with the one that would be delivered first. That turned out to be completely backwards.
 
Google shipping

I ordered directly from Google, and my phone was shipped on Friday evening. It left the Chicago FedEx location Saturday morning (6am). Since then, no updates on FedEx. I have estimated delivery of "by Tuesday" on the website, but am I crazy to think it could come today?

Anyone else on the east coast have a similar experience? Or anyone anywhere have it show up a day early?

Sorry, I'm just really excited to get my hands on this phone.

Mine left Carol Stream Il, on Thursday arrived at Sugarloaf Turnpike, PA and has not moved since. I think they are down there trying out the phone to see if they like it. It is only four hours away It could have easily made it here today or even Friday, but I am holding out hope for tomorrow. If not who knows when they may have just parked the truck somewhere and no one bothered to check it out.:-\
