You do know that you need to pay a 79$ deductible on top of the 89$ you paid for 6p PROTECT plan for accidental damage right? I called google and verified. PROTECT is not the same as APPLE CARE and it's not that great.

I've never been a big fan of insurance on something like this.... $168 replaces a broken $500+ phone so if you are prone to breaking your device. I always looked at it as if you were gambling against yourself....

To each his own....... Replacement insurance is sold at a price that the insurer knows they are on average making money....

Apple Care charges a deductible too: $79 for old models and $99 for the current models, and a limit of two accidental damage claims over the life of the plan.

AppleCare is 129 now plus 99 service fee/deductible. Are you joking? I hope so.

I just had a thought. I ordered the dark Adopted case along with my Nexus 6P 64GB on Oct 1. Both are still in Preorder status. I wonder if Google will ship the phone 1st of it is available before the case, or vise/versa? I'm hoping they are t waiting to ship until both items are available, since they were part of the same order number. Hmmm

Yes, its really not that bad of a deal. 80 bucks for piece of mind. And if you break your phone another small deductible gets you a new phone for a fraction of what you'd pay to replace it without insurance.

Think of it as a piece of mind deposit and its easier to swallow.

From everything I have seen, it will be available only through Google and gethuawei (I could be wrong though). I suggest finding someone with an iPhone 6+ since they are almost the exact same size.

My consideration for financing is I'm growing my consulting business so I'm trying to be sensible with my expenses. As such, I can't justify spending $500+. I can write it off at year end, but still, I'd rather get to get it financed and spend my money on my other business needs.

For those that ordered from Huawei, was there a Frost option, or only Graphite and Aluminum?

Yeah considering how a lot of people have dates around the same time I'm guessing they're shipping them out in big batches. Even if google had had phones ready to launch a week after the announcement you'd see people in here complaining they didn't get in on the first batch and that google should have built more inventory up before releasing it, you really can't win with some people.

That's true, but it doesn't mean the complaints about the real wait time for the 6P aren't valid. A month is still a long time to wait for a pre-ordered phone in 2015.

The estimated date on the order history page hasn't changed since I ordered on day one: November 10-12.

But if I click on "order details," the date range is now October 30-November 3. So make what you will of that.

Same place I see it on the order history screen: on the colored header. Are you getting to the page from store.google.com ? That's how I get there.

'if you go into Google Play’s “My Account” section and check on order history there, you can see more specific information.

Google may have separated Google device sales from Google Play and into the Google Store long ago, but your Google purchase history is still your Google purchase history. And thus, your Google Store orders will show in your Google Play order history.'

And it says in my Google Store its preordered Nov 18-20. But in the Play Store it says its Canceled. :|
Anyone else getting this?

On the main order page I see the Nov-4-6 estimate but when i click on order details there isn't any dates or estimates like you described. unless I'm reading your post wrong.
