Don't give up.. Try going directly to Huawei they were selling the nexus as well or try a phone retailer in your country.
It makes me think how much stock was in the world for it to just run out so quickly.
Maybe Google should set up and invite system like Oneplus hmm..

Mine still says "preordered" with a ship date range of Nov 10-12. My 5x order still says "pending" with a ship date range of Oct 28-30.

Someone may have mentioned this, but what are the differences between pending and preordered?

Not sure, honestly. Probably nothing significant...they could have been moving orders from one queue to another (perhaps against confirmed inventory). My Order Details for the 6P no longer has a delivery estimate though. Although the Orders History overview page still has the Oct 27-28th time frame displayed. I'm not going to get too excited because evidently some people's 5X orders have been in 'Pending' status for a week.

The case I ordered changed to a pending status, but my 6P is still listed as preordered.

My Nexus and case are both pending (two separate orders). I wish we knew more, but the excitement is really building now. The 13th is a reasonable ship date, since everything seems to take around two weeks when new Nexii arrive. Hopefully we all log in tomorrow with shipment notifications!

Theirs couple of rumors on the Nexus 5x and 6p shipping early. Take it with a grain of salt.

Nexus 5X and 6P both say "Pending", whatever that means. Probably nothing.
