Hey guys. Getting kind of worried. Is anyone else with me on this?
Never received a confirmation email.
Still says PREORDERED in Google Store.
Still says Pre-Ordered in Google Play.
There is no estimated date on my Order Details page, only the Order History page.
I ordered on launch day later in the evening with 2 day shipping.
64 GB Aluminum

You'd have to be very careful how you took the photo -- chances are you wouldn't be capturing anywhere near 500ppi with your camera unless you were using a macro lens.

i wouldn't really care for the macro shots, as you'll def see a difference at that level, but images captured at standard viewing distance (say around 18") at a typical viewing angle would be the most informative of how big or not big the difference in ppi is at that size / distance.

and it would have to be something with mixed content, like a webpage. i'm fairly certain video (non 4k, which will probably look nicer on the qhd panel) and images will look very similar, but something like text and readability of content at various sizes will tell a different story.

Ordered 6P 64GB Graphite about an hour after the conference, still at "preorder" with Nov 5-6 Ship date, and Leaves Warehouse in 2-3 weeks in Play store. I really hope it ships sooner, I'm tired of this Note 4. I'll miss the extra battery and SD card, but honestly, anything to get away from Samsung anymore. even if they make nice phones, I have begun to hate them as a company.

Frost 64 GB, ordered on Oct 5 after cancelling my Graphite order from release day. As of the past hour it now shows "Leaves warehouse by Nov 2." Progress!

So I went ahead and contacted Google regarding my 64gb aluminum order. Currently showing pre-ordered witha Nov 10-12 estimate.

I explained that I'm following these forums and people who have ordered after me are getting a change to pending status. Just wanted to make sure there weren't any issues with my order.

The rep was very nice and checked my order. Said everything was good on their end. He said it was scheduled to ship on 11/5. I didn't use overnight delivery but with 2-3 day shipping, my phone should arrive on either 11/9 or 11/10. I'll update once my orders status changes.

same here I have a battery cradle and 3 note 4 batteries I just swap them out when one goes dead ......... ill miss that I also have a 64GB Graphite ordered on the 29th stuck in Pre Order Purgatory with at 5-6 ship date and it says 2-3 weeks leaving. I did a chat with a google rep and he said it was ok and scheduled to leave the warehouse by 11/5 :/

I ordered a 128GB Graphite model minutes after pre-orders went online.... no change... Preordered / 2-3 Weeks (was 3-4 Weeks)

It's cool to watch everyone excited about their shipping dates and all. But not sure about you guys...

I'm here for the shipping notifications. Then I'll know it's Christmas Eve.

A camera sensor wouldn't be able to pick up the differences at that distance.

You're better off just looking at two panels and deciding which looks nicer to you. Which has clearer fonts, which handles motion better, etc. There are some advantages that aren't conveyed in still examination that do show up with motion.

I went to the google store online and clicked on buy selected the phone a graphite 128gb clicked buy or order and all it told me was it was on "buy now" and then to the configure side bar and the only option it gave me was to join the wait list? Then it said it would send me an email when they were available? No CC info was requested? I see nowhere to check on the status? Is there a better link than store dot google to actually order the thing??

I wanted to wait until initial reviews came in just to make sure nothing was horrible about the thing before I pre-ordered? Any guidance?

What's ppi measurement for a digital picture? I can understand for a display device or a printed picture.. but what is ppi for a digital pic?

I just ordered my 6P in 64 GB "Aluminium" (like my in-laws would say :p) directly from Huawei. No date given, but hope to get this bad boy soon!

I hate TouchWiz with a passion. I have a Note 3 and I use Nova Launcher on it, but it still doesn't get rid of ALL of touchWiz. The BIGGEST complaint I have is that Samsung locks down their dialer. Cannot make another dialer the default at all and Samsung's dialer is an ugly mess.

Because they are on backorder now. Google isn't taking any new orders for now
