128GB Graphite stuck in pending hell. Ordered on 9/29. Just got off the phone with CS for the 3rd time and was told to "just wait another 48 hours and lets see what happens".....

Awesome. I'm just trying not to go on tilt and order another one because I really want the $50 google play credit just out of principle....oh and the "late" $25 gift.
 
OK, my update: the 32BG Graphite ordered on 10/02 was pending for about ten days, so last Thursday I lost my nerve and ordered a 32GB Aluminum which got shipped on Friday. It arrived yesterday and I've been playing with it the whole day. It's huge BTW.
Late last night I got an email that my Graphite is shipped! And it arrived today at noon, so after work I had to go to FedEx to refuse delivery. O, and my Play credit was sent today too. I used the code but we'll see if Google will take it back.
 
Huawei update for those of you that purchased from there. My order was placed 10/1, got email last night that it was shipping. This is for 32GB Graphite. Just got UPS email notification that it is for sure on it's way. Will be here on Friday.
 
Status flipped to processing earlier today. Just now got the email confirming overnight shipping. 128GB frosty.

Just got this email from google....no good news.

"Thank you for contacting Google. We're sorry, but there seems to be an issue with your order. We're looking into this, and will get it taken care of for you as soon as possible.

I just received an email from Huawei saying that the 32GB Graphite I ordered on 10/19 has shipped. No tracking information yet but it sounds like that might come in a separate email from the shipper. Order shows 'complete' when I check the Huawei website.

Hopefully, this means others who ordered from Huawei around the same date will be getting some good news soon as well! :)

Update: I just received tracking information from UPS. Shipped from Ft. Worth, TX today, 11/3. It'll be delivered on Thursday, 11/5. So, they shipped the next day after I received the email from Huawei.
 
After seeing that some folks got their devices shipped within a day, while I have been waiting over a month (like most of us), I opened up another chat with Google Support. My man Rion happened to still be working and was able to share this information with me; pretty much what we already know. There are some models that are having production issues, and they are required to tell us that our orders will arrive on time, blah blah blah.

In that, pre orders seem to be stuck in this "pending" of doom situation, while more recent orders are going out much more quickly

Okay, best path of travel here is being as honest as possible. As I'm sure you are aware, there have been some production issues with the Nexus 6P. Some of the models, for example the 32GB aluminum, have come off great. For others, there have been some unforseen delays.
I couldn't disclose exactly what models are having issues. I am required to assure you that your order should still arrive by the latest shipping arrival date listed for your order. In your case, November 6th with the next day shipping you set up with.
This whole situation is not great, but I would really appreciate getting an email back from you if you don't end up with your order on time.

I ordered a 64g Frost on 9/30. The estimated arrival is 5-9. Status is still pending, and has been for about 2 weeks now. Google also told me its not late until after the estimated arrival but we will see. I live in FL so if it ships from CA its going to take a while.

Exact same boat. Guess I feel a little better...

I chose free shipping, because we are waiting on Project Fi invites, but it appears the order was upgraded to overnight shipping. Wasn't expecting it to arrive so soon, but my husband will be thrilled!

We are first time smartphone buyers, hoping to use Project Fi, status updated last week to say we'd get invites in 2-3 weeks, so I guess hubby can't use it as a phone yet, but I'm sure he'll enjoy checking it out anyway.

I want the 64GB Frost ... hope I am not doomed to a long wait to order one! Our land line has become increasingly unreliable, especially in rainy weather, hence our finally joining the smartphone generation.

Placed an order for a 64GB Graphite model last night around 9pm. Received an email at 8:15pm tonight that my order has shipped. Actual FedEx status only says that the label was created though. Expected delivery is tomorrow; I picked 3-5 day shipping, and it says the shipping method is FedEx Standard Overnight. Shipping from CA, I live in CT. I also ordered a Folio case with it. So, I'll believe it when it's on my doorstep tomorrow night.
 
I forgot...what was the purpose of pre-ordering? Can't wait to see if my 36 day wait results in a "Dear John" e-mail or congrats on a phone.
 
Got mine in today and it's nice except I may have to exchange it. I saw someone post earlier that on the bottom portion of their unit, right below the Huawei branding, it isn't completely sealed even. I can kinda run a finger along the bottom and feel where it's not properly sealed. It's not noticeable at all but for someone as anal about his gadgets as I am, it likely would bother me.
 
Oh what an experience this has been.....

So I ordered a 32gb graphite at 10am on 9/30. Went to processing 10/26, CC charged same day. CC charge disappeared 5 days later. On 11/3 I finally get my shipping email (at 1am, for delivery same day!). Package delivered roughly 2pm ET on 11/3.

But the best part.....I boot the phone up, thing's a beast. I get everything set up just about, notice some apps aren't installing but rather just sitting and attempting to download......so I do a reboot by holding the power button .....and that's all she wrote. At this point the phone just sits on the boot screen. Can get to recovery but when trying to select recovery the phone just attempts to boot.

Already spoke with support and got my replacement device ordered; processing estimated at 1-2 business days, and shipping 3-5 business days 😭😭😭😭😭
