I ordered on 10/1 from Huawei and it JUST shipped out on 11/2 at 7:30 at night. Is being delivered Friday 11/6.

Thanks for the update. So, based on your timeline of ordering 18 days before me, i'll be lucky if mine ships by the middle of Nov. I have a feeling it will be more towards the end which will make me very upset since if you order now they are saying shipping 1st week of Dec. I would be tempted to just cancel and get the LG V10 if I didn't already have 4 cases, 3 extra Type C charges, 4 type C to type A USB cables.

yeah that's pretty much crap. I know when I ordered it said said leaves warehouse by the 12th. I was perfectly fine with that. Very surprised that I got a notification today.

yea that makes no sense since they aren't tying it to your account on the phone OR giving you an activated device on a carrier.

there's no reason to tie the IMEI to the order pre-production. if anything when a phone is ready to ship, scan it at that point and tie an IMEI to the order.

I'm guessing that what they did was tie an IMEI to a customer at the point of order. Then when orders come in there is some robot that pulls phones by IMEI/bar code, matches them to customer/address and automatically sends them out. In other words no person has to look at an individual order then go pull a 6P, by color, by memory size from a specific shelf (so less errors in shipping). This would explain why orders placed later (against phones/IMEI in a warehouse) would get shipped before orders awaiting that specific IMEI. Unfortunately it has backfired. Hopefully they have learned their lesson.

I got mine (ordered from Huawei) on 11/3. My original order, which I even changed no less from 64 GB to 128 GB, was done on 10/20. I didn't expect to get it until late November. The theory that Aluminum models are being shipped sooner from either Huawei or Google must be true. Anyways, here's mine...

Ordered my 128gb Graphite on 9/29. ETA - 11/10-12

Was literally stick in "pending" until literally 1 hour ago, but now it's finally at processing, woo-hoo! There was zero charges on my card at the time either. However I just checked and I've been billed for the full amount

Same here. Pre-ordered on 9/29 graphite 128GB and it went into processing this morning as well. Hope it ships out this week!

Looks like today is the first day that the 128G Graphite had a status change, hopefully you get yours ship today. Let us know when your phone ships.

I ordered on 10/1 and have leave warehouse date of 11/5 so I can't complaint yet. I guess I'll have to wait and see if Google keeps its promise by Thursday.

Has anyone had any success cancelling their preorder and just re-ordering? When I mentioned that to the google rep she seemed to be pleading for me not to do that but it seems like a viable option to get a phone faster.

Please don't cancel the device. We have been restocking the devices and have already started
shipping the devices to the customers. If there is a delay from our end, you'd receive an email
and the delay would be compensated.

Regardless of what my estimated arrival date may be.

Had a credit card pending charge since ordering on October 30th (128gb Graphite) checked my credit card account today and there was no pending credit card charge nor did it Post to the account? Just disappeared? Checked order history on google store and the status is still pending with a Nov 13th-16th ship date? Why would google charge and then delete the pending charge on the CC??

Bull **** you can't complain just yet! lol There are people receiving these already when they ordered last week. If you ordered on 10/1 you should DEFINITELY receive your order before those people!

The pending charge appeared on 10/28 for me and disappeared today. Still stuck in processing. CSR told that it should ship on 11/9/15. We shall see.

I'm happy for you but now i'm even more PO'd. I ordered mine 1 day before you, and you already have yours and mine hasn't even shipped. SMH. I don't understand how 2 large companies like Google and Huawei can F up this bad. Especially since Huawei cranks devices out on a regular basis.

I believe the 128 Graphites and 64 Frosts were the most delayed of the whole bunch. Us 64 frost's just started moving into processing last night, and it sounds like Google got a big shipment in today. I hope yours moves to processing soon!

Well everyone. I finally got the best answer I have ever heard. This is probably some news to everyone as I have not seen it posted here.

From Google Rep Christie B:

The orders are being assigned when they come in automatically to an IMEI that matches the phone to your order. If your orders IMEI had a problem during production than this is what caused the delay. Instead of giving you the next available phone, they are waiting for the one that matches the IMEI to be created. So if someone has an order after us, and their IMEI is ready, the phone will then go through the process of shipping.

So cheers everyone, maybe one day an IMEI will be created for our original orders that actually matches and we will get a phone.

Thanks for getting the info out of them, but that is the dumbest order fulfillment process I've ever heard of. I... I... words fail me.

Would you say Frost White is a female color, i saw a demo in it looks great just had a gunmetal grey phone before shows a lot of marks even when in a case. 128gb is that too much but im just thinking if apps, and films, music, and HD content goes on it especially as Youtube Red comes into play and no external storage having a more storage is a better option?

I think the white version will hide the scratches the best! And also, I like the white version the most out of all three of them. The black bar on the top is nothing we should try to hide. It's the only feature which makes the phone unique and nexus-y. And I love it. It's the most prominent providing a stark contrast which I think looks stunning in the white.

And white is gender neutral man. Every color nowadays is gender neutral. Almost everybody got the rose gold iphone this time. Even the guys. They don't care. Nobody cares. Only you should care.

Storage options depend on your usage.

Been seeing reports of the UK 64 frosts shipping today. You all seem to have gone into processing around the same time we did here in the US, but no ship yet ...fingers crossed...
