"I've ordered my Nexus 6P" (Order & Shipping Discussion)

howd you swing that? i ordered on the 25th

I ordered mine on 10/19 and got the same email yesterday. I thought it was the shipping email and I was jumping up and down till I read it and saw it was somewhat of an apology. Considering my Nexus 6p was suppose to ship by the last week in October, then by 11/15 I don't think that little cheap speaker makes up for it. Especially when you consider they were just sitting in a warehouse taking up space because no one wanted it. I know a few people who own it and they have all said it's worth maybe $25 and not the $99 Huawei lists it for.

This means my 6p will probably not ship till Dec which is just crazy IMHO. They can't convince me the volume is this high, especially when Huawei has been on record saying they have the capacity to make 500,000 devices a day. It's been 27 days for me. I got my LG V10 last week which I just love. I might just cancel my Nexus order. 30 days is too long of a wait especially when those who ordered from Google was given a $50 google play credit and for the delay Google gave $25 refunds and free overnight shipping.

I asked Huawei to upgrade me to next day shipping for free when they ship and they said they can't do that. Maybe i'll just sell the 6p when I get it. I'll play with it first, but I can't imagine it being better than my V10.

I too am dubious about the "high volume" claim since when I placed my order, the 32GB Graphite was the only one available. Makes no sense.

Ordered from Huawei on Oct 21st. Still processing. Earlier Huawei emailed me with a coupon code for a free bluetooth speaker (Color Cube Mini Box) as compensation for the wait.

ordered my 64gb Graphite Saturday 11/7 with an expected ship date of 11/15. Went into processing status within an hour! received shipping email 2 days later, phone was delivered next day. this is my first nexus experience, crazy how everyones experience can be so different.

After waiting much, much longer than I would have liked to, I finally bought the Frost, 128GB model! It's estimated delivery window is the 19th through the 23rd. My birthday is on the 22nd so this is perfect timing! Personally, this is the first time I've purchased a phone with more than 32GB of storage, I'm not sure how to fill it all up. Blah! This is going to be the longest week ever! I may be a over too excited for this phone, but it's understandable as right now I'm using the 2013 Moto X and it's really, REALLY showing its age.

Not sure, it took two weeks for the model I wanted to become available. It is in stock if you buy it through Google's Fi service... but you would need an invite for that...

Didn't do anything at all, so I can only assume Huawei is genuinely trying to make amends. Not sure this cuts it but we'll see.

Exactly my issue. Preorder on 9/30 for a 11/10-11/12 delivery and now late. NO communication from Google as to the status and it took two phone calls to them to find out what was going on with it. Figures it would be a stupid case that holds the whole thing up and they won't upgrade shipping so it looks like it will be delivered while I'm out of town. The Googler kindly recommended I contact FedEx to have my shipping details changed. Oh, and still no shipping confirmation or email from them.

Received my 128GB Graphite on 11/5/2015 (Ordered 9/29, Delivery Window 11/10-11/12)
AWESOME Phone... 11/7... Fingerprint Scanner died. Followed troubleshooting steps up to Factory resetting phone... Nothing. acted like Scanner didn't exist (No Options in Security Settings). Called Google and went through steps I did. tech contacted engineers and Huawei. Tech said that there was a software update coming on Monday 11/9 it might fix it, but Engineers ad Huawei will contact me. the next day google emailed me with a link to order a replacement unit. It is now due to show up on 11/19 and I am to send back my current unit. Current Unit works great minus Imprint scanner...
