I've owned everything, and the Nexus 6p is still the best!

It is a good phone. I still wish it was not so big (same screen size, but slightly smaller) and I could move the buttons. I also wish the proximity sensor worked better. Otherwise, I have a hard time finding issues with it.

What are your issues with the proximity sensor? I haven't had any issues at all with the sensor.

My auto rotate has never worked properly. It skews toward wanting to be in landscape mode when it should be portrait. Not a deal breaker but it is annoying.

I could be wrong here, but I don't think the proximity sensor is controls auto rotate. The proximity sensor is the sensor that turns the screen off when the phone is put to the ear during a phone call (to prevent accidental touch operation). The gyro sensor controls the auto-rotate feature. At least that's my understanding.

It sometimes does not turn off the screen when I am on a call or listening to visual voicemail and I end up hitting buttons with my cheek. Also, it does not recognize that the phone is in my pocket and will light up when I get a message and my leg will turn off music, etc. depending on what is shown in my notifications.
