January Update - weird video playback issue

Hello,

I've had my S2 9.7 since 2017 (best buy black friday $199)

I've noticed that since the January update, I will be watching videos on (it's stand) and the tablet will go to sleep. Any idea how to solve this? Doesn't matter if it's plugged in or not....

What are these updates everyone is speaking of? Haven't had an update in over a year.
