Jelly Bean 4.1.1 Help Needed Please

Hi folks, this is my first post here in hope somebody with the ability out there can kindly advise me.

I have a GD Ippo U7 7" tablet that I purchased from a Chinese company. It was running 4.1.1 and somehow my son has done something to it whereby it wont load. It was working fine until he pressed the reset button on the rear of the unit (why ??). It begins to load with the green Android robot logo then the name GDIppo flashes on screen momentarily then the word 'android' flashes and remains constantly on screen. Any attempt to reset from the rear button just repeats what I have just described.

I have seen instructions to press the power button and the volume button together but this unit only has a power button.

I am not a super techie but have a general understanding so if anybody can advise me please be patient. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

Maybe your son was trying to "Root" your Ippo? Maybe first try holding your power button until the screen goes off, then hold until the title screen comes on.
