Today I was prompted to update to Jelly Bean. I accepted and it downloaded and began installation. After the reboot there was a battery indicator and the signal bars. The rest of the screen was blank. After 15 mins a message appeared saying that settings wasnt responding and asked if i wanted to wait or exit. I waited and after another 10 mins it asked again. I pressed close and nothing happened. After multiple restarts and clearing the cache I am left with the droid eye or the same blank page. Please help!

I hear ya man and maybe this will help.. this site will take yer GS3 right back to stock. now be patient you will start to see the little grenn android then you'll think i have failed.. but do it again and in a second or two you will have things downto pat.. this should get you outta any slump and let ya rebuild.. >Tech Geek • Restore your Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 to Stock < theres a few things to do in a exact order. very simple.. like when to plug in and about you being able to run odin as an administrator and from there its bam bam thank ya ma.. walla yer GS3 lives n breaths.. but wait for the update you will have to go to settings and ask bout a update.. then in a few minutes poof theres the update... ok i hope that helps ya get back start where you wanna be.. as for me i am waiting tilll these old rootings work up to the 4.1.2.

Do you think maybe you should ask what kind oof phone the OP has first?

OP, do NOT follow those instructions or you will brick your Razr Maxx

Ditto. Disregard papa54's post. You may need to do a factory reset and start over. Pretty sure there should be something in the Razzr forums on how to do that. Isn't hard if you follow the instructions. Or if you're not up to going through all that, you could see if there's a toolkit available for your phone online somewhere. Doing things the long way and learning how to do that will help you in the long run but if you just want to let the kit handle everything this once then I'd recommend that.
