Jelly Bean

Maybe because UHF was a hilariously funny movie (like 20 years ago). I'd watch it again myself but I don't want to ruin the mental image I have of the movie.

I don't think it's possible to further tarnish any mental image of Weird Al Yankovic.

I haven't dropped data since I got this phone. I'm lucky that way I guess. Or I got it after the radios were fixed.

Just giving you crap. The 2 I had were terrible, and I see it's still a problem for many. Glad yours is good though.

The only part I want o JB is Beam and I want that now.

Don't give me the whole we do not have NFC thing, I counter that with "the Rez is not a world phone....oh wait..."

WHAR BEAM WHAR?!?!?

JB just dropped for the Nexus and there's already Roms. Today might be a good day after all.

when there is one for the One X or the new INC, then I will get excited. The ROM I run seems to be based off either of those two....

You are going to want all of it, trust me :)

Oh man. I grew up watching UHF and I watched it again recently with my brothers. It was funnier than ever.

When I first read this I saw JB and Beam and thought Jim Beam. Yeah it's been that kind of day.

Honestly that's what I thought he was talking about. Android Beam is part of ICS with NFC.

I think this all started with UHF. Next we're talking about JB and Beam, Jim Beam vs Android Beam. Then on to ICS with NFC which VZW is holding back from all but Moto and the GNex. Assuming you have the correct HW to run the SW which is needed to beam the Beam. If you don't, you're stuck with GB, or HC on your Tab.

My brain couldn't handle all of those abbreviations at once. My mind feels like it's on Eclair :-X

Note the ASUS logo so we know where the hardware actually comes from. No SD storage option is a pisser for me, but the price at $249 for 16GB is better/competitive with Playbook or Kindle or ?

No removable battery either. :(

What do/would you store on a tablet? I mean I have 4 Android tablets in my house right now and I guarantee you that none of them have more than maybe 2GB used.

Music: NAS / Google Music / Pandora
Video: NAS / Netflix

With my setup, we don't need local storage, and I'm guessing that's the trend that manufacturers are trying to get behind.

I have 100GB of ripped videos and downloaded music. That streaming thing just doesn't work that much for me except if there is a movie/video that I don't have that I just have to see. Rare for me.

I'd use up 16GB pretty quick with media files let alone apps and data.

You would store all that on a tablet? I mean honestly our phones don't have that much space. I have over 300GB of ripped music/video and I stream it all from my NAS. Then add in Netflix etc and I have media at my fingertips at all times. With all the cloud storage available(even personal via a NAS) I just think it's a better way to go rather than copying here there and everywhere.

Screw Jelly Bean... Why don't i have Candy Cane on my phone already!!!!

Shouldn't that be Kandy Kane?
