Jellybean 4.2.2 is cancelled

"May". Seriously, don't believe everything you read on the Internets. Speculation is NOT confirmation.

Wouldn't surprise me. I blame myself for this as it seems that every phone I ever get since finally moving over to smartphones has had this happen. I don't think I have owned 1 smartphone either Windows or Droid OS's that has gotten the promised upgrades.

It must be me. Sorry Guys.

"Galaxy Note 2 to skip Android 4.2, go straight to 'newer version,' says Aussie carrier", reads headline on Android Central website. Suggest reading the article. This could be even better if true.

I'm pissed. Why would they do such a stupid thing. They have 4.2.2 ready to roll out. They can update us to 4.3 once it's ready.

I just want the new update from Samsung. The new camera the new S-voice the asps to SD. The new 2.0 Touch-Wiz it looks better it's easier end it has bug fixes.

4.3 would then be a minor update Samsung could roll out once ready.

Now we have to wait for the Note 3 to be released then get our update sometime be year. I'm done with Samsung if this is the case. The Note 2 is Samsung's flagship device as of right now and they are not treating it as so. I think us Note 2 owners deserve at least one good update before the release of the Note 3.

I mean I'm glad to get 4.3 pretty swiftly, but I want 4.2.2. Apps to SD, new camera interface, and TouchWiz 2.0 are all great upgrades to the current 4.1.2.

This pretty much made my mind up for me. I said if we don't get a good update before the Note 3 I'm going with another brand. I'm in no rush because I love my Note 2. This just suck's that I will not be getting another Note.. or Samsung device ever again.

Now that this is happening it's going to be next year by the time we get the update. Samsung needs to fire anyone who is in charge of getting updates rolled out. Maybe if they had some people that know what there doing and care about return customer's. Instead they are releasing 4 different versions of the S4 and way to many other phones.

I'm not sure who's in charge of Samsung but damn, talk about one greedy mofo..
