Jellybean won't me access most folders via USB (and gallery)

My situation is similar but in my case I did flash 4 diferent JB roms from the initial leak, and on this week I flashed Vicious from source and just this morning the Team Black Hat rom also from source, on every single case had the same problem, can't see old pics on gallery and can't access most of my data with usb cable on my pc. Every time I wiped everything, for my last one I even restored to my first nandroid from 8 months ago, then again wiped everything and flashed JB, still no old pics or usb access. It is really frustrating.

Yup. It's really frustrating.. Anyone else have anymore ideas?

So I flashed back to an old nandroid.. All my photos were there, and it what working fine. I tried flashing to the new AOKP JB.. and I'm having the same issue..

This blows. Can't believe there isn't a fix.

In case anyone is wondering or still looking for an answer.. This is how I solved it.

I went back to an old nandroid, where i could still connect through USB. I unloaded all my photos, downloads, and other important stuff to me (Nova Launcher Backup). I re-locked my phone and then unlocked and rooted again, then went back to regular Android 4.0.4 (stock rom). I then flashed again and it worked perfect.

I was having the same issue. When I connected my phone to my computer(s) via usb only the DCIM and notifications folders showed up. Clearing the media cache and rebooting seemed to fix this (all folders are now visible).

I always had this kind of issue on both my Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus, soon or late. Hey Google, is this too difficult to fix ??? Shame!
