Jittery scrolling?

My wife just got this phone today. Seems pretty nice, if slower than mine . Anyhow, I noticed that the screen is jittery when scrolling & especially when you hold it in one spot. anyone else see this &/or know how to stop it from doing it?

This is my first Android phone, but I have noticed that the Commando is not the fastest out there. Mine lags quite a bit sometimes. I usually restart it when I notice that it is getting bad.
