Joining the S family or staying with your Note20?

Honestly phone still works great and does everything I need, I may rock the Note 20 U until it no longer gets security updates.

Well, the thing is... knowing that there is a newer Note available, if not in a rush then one can enjoy their current phone and wait 12 months to get one. Only a op to get one for a great deal would push one to get one sooner... and not talking $50 store credit lol.

Honestly same for me. For one I like using the SD card to store my media so losing it and paying more for storage doesn’t interest me. The 100mp camera interests me as a novelty but more for the higher optical zoom to 10x cause I did use my zoom when I was vacationing to places like Maine this past year.

Otherwise the only reason to buy in 12 month is that my current phone will be old enough that I want a fresh phone for the next few years… unless we see a Note 23… then can skip the 22.

I do like sd card also but today wouldn't make me not get a device , still waiting one day for notification led light ( wishful thinking)

I, for various medical reasons, have lost my grip on smooth surfaces. I have the N20 5G right now, but am considering the small, non-note 22 for the grip. I get tired of dropping my N20 5G sometimes just trying to pick it up. I do have it in a protective case, but it adds to the mass and as a guy, I have small hands to begin with. I love the size of my N10, so I will likely not trade it in for now. If they would come back with a N23 the size of the smaller N10 that I have, it would be a non-thought for me to jump. Otherwise on the fence and not in a hurry to jump right now.

With the Note being almost a 2 year old phone they'll be definitely upgrades. I found two years is a good amount of time to wait between phones.

But my "contact" for the discount won't end until fall, as long as it works, and I see no reason to pay off early, I'll wait at least until fall.

I use the pen a lot, so I'd get that one.

2 years used to be good but now it's more like 3 or 4 years between phones for me.

It certainly looks like samsung are holding back the clock speeds and true performance of the Exynos 2200 just now. The info that's trickling through is that it's yet again inferior to the Snapdragon version and the AMD GPU is having to be underclocked to keep the heat down, but it's still running hot!

This has really put me off the S22 Ultra here in the UK and if I were to purchase the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 version from outside the UK then I would only get 12 months warranty and a headache with any replacement.

So unless Samsung release the true performance before pre order then I'll wait for more stats against the Snapdragon and possibly miss out on pre order gifts.

I'm on the fence about purchasing the Note, I mean, s22 Ultra.

I'd keep my Note 20 Ultra as I don't have a backup phone.

If it's a true 'Note' feature wise, then probably.....maybe.....I don't know.

I think tomorrow will bring the best trade in value for the Note 20 Ultra. That's why I'm 90% sure I'm trading for the S20 Ultra.

With the new S series phone release coming up, do you all think the 22 Ultra will be worth the buy? So far... well at least from the renderings I've seen on YouTube, nothing has really grabbed my attention;at least not enough to make me really want to buy it.

Finally was able to start pre-order Samsung would not complete on my PC but agreed to save my cart. I was then able to complete pre-order on my IPad. Weird. I have pre-ordered from them in past several times never had problems before. You would think Samsung would have their act together today. They should of been prepared for large pre-orders
