My battery is 97 do I charge overnight?

Oh god this is why :

I have PVMTPSeriveStart running, its a HUGE battery drain, but it runs sometimes randomly so idk what to do ):

Sounds good, if your phone is sleeping then you should be in good shape.

So after 1.5 hours of unplugged time, the battery is at 94%.
Spare parts show:
Running 17.7%
Screen 11%

Seems better. But I think the problem is when I go to work and get into the LTE area. My phone gets much warmer and the battery just bleeds power.

ok so I just finished my charge about 20 min ago and checked a voicemail and of course got a phone call when i was just trying to let it idle but when i turned it on it it was on 99% so I will check it in about another 45 min and we will see what happens...

So alittle over an hour later and battery was still at 96%
running is 15.7%- time spent without sleep was 13m 25s but i was on the phone for about 5 min or something like that
screen 4.1%
phone 4.3%
Now underpartial wake usage android system is the biggest blue bar and the others are very very small

now under the system in the phone that tells you what your battery is running the display is 40% but the time on was only 7 min so that seems ok and i have the brightness turned down to like 25-30%
Numbers sound ok so far so we will see how it does the rest of the night texting and talking on the phone and tomorrow at work.

Time spend without sleeping sound OK. As long as your phone has been on for a while. Did you have bad battery today?

phone's been unplugged for 3 h and 11 min. display 54%, android 35%, cell standby 3%. some others at 2% each.

Hum, that's the blockbuster thing right? Maybe you didn't disable the auto update correctly.

Had you been using it moderately for that time period? Running percent seems high unless you were using it for 1-1.5 hours total. Also android 35% is quite high. What did partial wake usage say? It seems like you have some serious background processes running. I wonder if "system panel" app will show you what is taking CPU cycles up.

Your spare parts numbers look good. You'll have to see tomorrow with the LTE area, maybe you are getting poor LTE signal and your phone is really stretching for it. Try turning off the 4G to 3G when you're there. Or just use wifi if available.

Ya those numbers sound normal. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day for you. Based on the fact that your partial wake was higher for android system, you might have more background syncing things like email/facebook than me. I only have weather and email every hour.

Hi Brown, I'm curious does your phone switch from 4G to 3G? if so that could be a drain on battery as well.

Not during the work day. I work in a LTE area so its on 4g the whole time.
My house is on the fringe though. In my house I have 3g only. As soon as I get in my car I'm on LTE.

I'm worried there is some internal search for 3g and LTE constantly. It doesn't make sense. I have done nothing but reply to his form twice and answer a few text and I'm at 40% left.

And the phone is still remaining warm. Currently at 34 C.

Also Spare Parts is showing that its been 48 mins since my phone slept . Not sure how to correct that.

I had to thank you guys for talking about Juice Defender beta. I installed it and put it on the default settings. I charged my phone (while it was on) in my truck for 1hr while I was in the gym. At 1230 I unplugged and at 100% charge. It is now 3:17 and I am at 93% battery. Now granted I have only had a chance to do some quick web browsing but I have been texting the wife quite a bit but I think 7% in about 3 hrs is pretty great!

edit: Ughh I feel like I am getting bad battery again.

It's been 55 mins since I turned it on. (it was off in school). Then in those 55 mins, I made 3-4 no more than 2-3 minute phone calls, and sent 1 text and lost 8%. I am not sure if this sounds normal.

Real quick, were do I go to find my screen brightness percentage? I found it once and now that I have Juice Defender Beta (I'm very happy with it) I want to push up the birghtness just a tad.

Settings>Display> Brightness and move the bar till it's down. It USED to show me the percent now it dosen't pretty wierd.
