I would expect a sellout. Short supply probably for the first month. It is the most anticipated phone in the world right now, so Samsung will have to produce 20-30 million to keep up with the demand. Europe alone had 9 million pre orders. So between Europe and North America you may be looking at 15-20 million units. Then you have to consider Asia.

Premier is when you have corporate discount on your plan, it give you special access to discounts. i pay 75 for unlimited text and data and 450 minutes. Funny thing, i no longer work for the company and i still get the discount :-$
My former employer who I resigned from about 3 years ago provided me with a Sprint discount. I only got a private Sprint line a few days after I left and I told our Sprint rep I was quitting when I put in my order. She told me she didn't care and unless I told them to remove the discount they wouldn't.
That really only happens if you order online though. The corporate stores most likely won't hand out the phones until it is 21st but most of the times online pre-orders might get them a few days early sometimes.
I went into my local AT&T store after work today and preordered it for delivery to the store for pickup. They sent me an email for confirmation and it says:
"Your equipment has been reserved and is expected to ship within the next 3 to 5 business days."
Anyone else receive an email confirmation? I was expecting it to say around the 20th but why would I get this email?

I got the same message which means June 13th to ship at the latest. If it ships withing 3 business days that is June 11th. Probably means June 18th - 21st. AT&T is famous for Sunday releases which is June 17th. Mine is being "shipped" to the store where I pre-ordered. Rep let it slip that the inventory is already in the store.
Ordered mine about 6:30 pm EST today. Talking with the rep we went over the 18th to ship and probably delivery on or about the 21st. I also go several emails that I will go back and look over here in a few mins to see if they say something different about ship date.
I'm replacing my iPhone 4, which I want to give to my daughter on a non-data line. I was told that I can't activate it for her without adding data, and if I do they will add the most expensive data plan to the line once they figure it out. It wasn't this way about a year ago when my wife took my old iPhone 3. Pisses me off actually.
Since I'm using an upgrade for another line because mine isn't ready until Aug, I am having the phone shipped to the store. I'm supposed to get a call and an email when it arrives.

The lady who helped me stated that, "I probably knew more than she did about it and that I was the first customer in to pre-order today." And that was at 6:30pm. I questioned about things like when it would ship etc and she held firm to the 18th ship to arrive probably on the 21st. No hints about being in stock etc. ATT web site states my order is "In Progress."

For those of you who preordered online: did AT&T put a hold on the funds on the credit card you used? Was it just a $1 pre auth or was it for the full amount you're going to be paying for the phone?

If that's true, I wonder if they were anticipating this lawsuit by Apple and may release the phone after all the smoke clears......

My wife gave me AT&T gift certificates for my birthday and I was told that a credit card was needed for fulfillment orders. The credit card is charged when my SG3 is activated. I was going to use the certificates for the pre-order. If I had waited until the phone was released. I could have used them. I will use them for my son's line upgrade.
I was told the card would be charged when the phone shipped, and I asked more than once. However, the full amount was charged to my account at the time of order.
/speculation Could this mean they really are already in store!?! /end speculation
