Just Got 4.4.4 Via Kies, Verizon

I'm not sure about that but as long as you got Odin 3.09 and that firmware your good

ok got 4.4.4 installed, seems a lil snappier and my signal does seem to be better, I am getting 4 bars now in the exact location the phone was sitting earlier and it was only ever getting 3 bars sometimes 2....so that is very welcomed!

Yea, thanks for the help bro (and horse_power_lover, I appreciate the links). I don't see why Verizon hasn't pushed this, seems to run very well, improved signal, it seems snappy. I'd imagine it shouldn't be much longer before they push it.

Yeah, they are alwaysssssssssss last to push out a lot of the Samsung phone updates, other than the S5 and S4, but have really slacked it seems with the Note 3! Pretty sad that this is the first update of any sort its had since May. Nothing...zero, not even a "heres a signal fixer, heres added security measures"...oh well. Guess they have some reason not to release it, must have to do with money in some way shape or form.

Since I went to 4.4.4 I've been able to run the note 4 launcher

Where did you get the Note 4 launcher? I'd like to try it, I run Nova launcher and keep it as close to vanilla android as I can with icons and looks and animations. But I don't mind touchwiz.

I am extremely pissed off at vzw and Samsung. If this update was for just bug fixes and added no features, they should have sent it out no later than August. My battery life has been abhorrent since the kit kat update and they drug their feet to try to get people to buy the note 4. Now, they are doing it so people get the note 4 edge.

They added some features such as SE for Android security. Gives you the option to receive updates to the security policy and the ability to send Samsung info on your security for analysis. Also, they added 'find my phone', you can lock out people trying to reactivate your phone. The battery life is definitely BETTER, just by testing it a little over 14 hours yesterday, when I'm at 50% battery I usually have just about 2 hrs and 30 minutes of screen on time. Now I have about 3hrs and 40 minutes of screen on time. Normally my screen at 50% accounts for 25% battery draw and at 50% now it was at 19%.
So, in theory the way it was going I technically could have had approximately 7 hours of screen on time if I killed the battery and drained it to 0. There are definitely under the hood tweaks that are improving battery life decently. Also, the signal seems to be about 1-2 bars stronger on average where it would normally be about 1 bar or only 2. Although, places where I was getting a full 5 bars are now only 4 bars, but they hardly ever were a full 5 anyways so I'll take the constant improvement of an extra 1-2 bars just about everywhere over the 1 extra bar to make 5 bars, as I never was in those certain areas that much anyways to have a full 5 bars. Also, since getting 4.4.4 on here, my phone has not once dropped the wifi connection, as on 4.4.2, it would drop off my wifi at least 1-5 times a day. So that's been improved as well as now I see full bars for wifi further away from my router, as well as the signal and link speeds consistently being better when I check. This is prime time ready. They should be releasing it soon.

Where is find my phone at

When you go into setting and go all the way over to the right to 'general' and then to 'security', it is in there with the new security options. It gives you the option for remote controls, locking the phone if someone tries reactivating it and the Samsung find my mobile website and sim change alert.
