Just switched from my Lumia 920 to G2. So far I like this phone a lot. Autocorrect sucks compared to my Lumia. Is there a setting I need to turn on to make it better?

Have a few more questions.

I am looking for a good to-do list app, even a full PIM. What do you suggest?

What are some must have apps? I have downloaded the basics, facebook, instagram, outlook (very bad app). And a few others including the imore/wpcentral forum apps.

Must have apps are Dropbox, Evernote (Could probably use this as to-do list app), Asphalt 8 to test your G2's gaming performance, Flipboard, and iFunny XD
The auto-correct sucking could be from the keyboard you're using. I recommend using Swype or SwiftKey for better keyboard and better prediction/correcting

Yup he basically answered your questions. I would recommend looking at an app called Switchr (spelled exactly like that) so you could switch from apps faster. Also Sidebar Pro

Go for Poweramp...music, MX Player...video, A.I.type keyboard if not interested in swype, ES File Explorer for file management, EZ Weather..has a great dock screen, Helium for backup, Apex if interested in a launcher (most will recommend Nova) and for extra storage...go for a Meenova.
Oh...definitely Pocket for stuff you want to save.

A launcher is a home and menu replacement in case u don't like the ui the phone comes with.

You can download and here is a link. If you do a search for launcher, there are many to choose from. Don't panic when it completely changes your home screen, you can easily return to the look your phone had.

The TMobile versions comes with a Tasks app that seems to let you enter a to-do list, though I haven't used it yet.

My list of must-have apps are:
Amazon MP3: great player and easy to browse music store
RealCalc: Useful for converting between different measuring units and number bases
Shush: useful app for turning ringer back on automatically after a meeting or after a movie
AirAttack HD: older top down shooter still looks great and fun to play
Contra Evolution: great retro gaming action with upgraded graphics
