Just got a Yellow Dot replacement droid,

I just got a refurb phone from Verizon today with a yellow dot on the box,
what could that possibly mean, am i the only one that got one?

I am on my 4th refurb and I do not remember any yellow dot on any of the boxes. I think if it works fine you should not worry.

it looks nice, looks brand new, no scratches, slides much smoother then my old one,
but i'm still wondering what the yellow dot indicates,

It is possible that someone just happened to have a yellow dot sticker that they needed to get rid of. Your box just happened to be the closest place to store it.

That would be so funny if thats what happened with the tours...

Someone just decided to start putting dot stickers on boxes to freak people out and give them a false sense of hope.

Yep you didn't have to prove it to us... But still someone probably just decided to put a yellow dot on your box to make you think its better than everyone elses Droid.

I got a replacement last month with a Blue Dot with the words "NB 12/09"...

Maybe they're marked depending on origin? Do the refurbs come from more than 1 location? Maybe a VZW employee who posts here can shed some light on this.

Could be a quality control thing now, just to show they were inspected they get a sticker.

I've asked verizon before its like he said a leak of radiation or a defective battery so it really just means a phone that had a problem that was fixed your all good
