Just got my 9xl pro

So far I'm very impressed! Setup and data transfer was quick and painless! It used to take hours to get a new phone set up but this one took about a half hour.

Phone of the year IMO.

My only complaint was I couldn't get the color I wanted, Rose or Hazel. Settled for Obsidian. Not even Porcelain was available.

Set mine up yesterday. Transfer from Pixel 6 Pro to 9 Pro XL was a snap. Didn't even need to cord. Beautiful screen. Great camera. It figures, right after I bought it Google announced 2 more years of Android updates on the Pixel 6. Still, I'm happy. Deal was too good to pass up this time.

I agree about the easy setup/transfer. When I went from my OnePlus 7 to the Pixel 6 pro it was pretty good but I was still setting up things hours later.

As much as I picked out the white this time I find the colors mostly pointless since everyone puts a case on that covers the color other than the very few that get a clear case.

It doesn't feel right to spend so much on a flagship and after a few minutes out of the box it gets puts in a case until it's sold.

Don't discount so-called clear cases. Once they turn yellow after a few months of use, they make for some interesting and colourful phones. For instance, a white phone becomes yellow-ish, a green phone becomes lime green-ish, a pink phone become peach-ish, a red phone becomes orange-ish, etc., etc.
