just got N7 today...google play won't load....what's wrong?? please help.

Google play was working. I force stopped automatic updates and now google play tries to load the immediately goes back to home screen. I have literally had the unit for only a few hours. Has anyone else had this problem?

Go in to "manage apps" clear cache and data....see if that helps.

why did u force stop automatic update?
it might also be updating to newer version of play store which released today and u might have ruined the update.

just clear data/cache and try again

If the previous advice doesn't work, try reboot, if not, do a factory reset and don't force close updates this time around..

Thanks folks for the advice. I ended up doing a factory reset and it worked, I won't force stop stuff anymore!!
