Just got the Galaxy watch 3

You're short for this thread, lol, I'm 5'8"! Lol! I have the big one and love it. I'm also on the thin side, 155lbs.

I'm 6'5", does that win? :P

I just upgraded from my Watch to Watch 3 and just the screen itself and the bezel are a HUGE improvement. The watch looks just so much better (screen), even with the same watch faces, I can see a noticeable improvement.

The buttons on the side are even better and easier to use. I like the look of them as it makes the watch look more traditional.

Yes sir! Lol!

Agree with everything above.

Just got my watch today. Upgraded from an S3 Frontier. Wow, I've got some mixed feelings on appearance, weight, and the included band. I miss the additional heft. I miss the thicker dial. That made it feel so industrial. I even miss the silicone band. Between sweat, rain here in Florida, and washing hands all the time (thanks 'Rona). I know that things tend to slim down as they get more advanced, and I'm sure the removal of MST contributed to some of that loss as well, but it doesn't feel as solid. It's just my first day, so hopefully over time, it'll grow on me more. I upgraded out of need, not want. I was trying to wait out another generation, but here we are.

You can get nice silicon bands from Amazon and even bezel. That is the first thing I did was replace the bands.

This is my third Samsung watch I bought the original one, the Galaxy watch 2 and the Galaxy watch, in the LTE 46mm version. Although a bit pricey, I'm pleased with the protruding buttons, design and response of the watch. It seems to have better connectivity with the phone. I'm anxiously awaiting the ECG and the blood pressure monitoring functionality as that's what's prompted the purchase. Interestingly I had an issue with the Galaxy watch 2 and my Google Pixel phone with AT&t. It worked fine number syncing for about a year and a half and all of a sudden it stopped working and after several calls and numerous hours on the phone with technical support and going into an AT&t location, it was determined that their position was that it was not supported with the Galaxy phone on their network and my year and a half a functionality was an anomaly. I since switched to T-Mobile and their digits plan and everything works fine. Very pleased with the watch, no complaints, just waiting on the functionality for the ECG and blood pressure. They promised those features a few watches ago... I wonder if this is the year it's more than just marketing bs. I'm waiting till I see those fully fledged features actually working on a watch before I buy one ;-)

The ECG is here, I just downloaded it in the last update.

You might be the only person who wants their watch to be heavier lol.

With the caveat of "if you're in the US or South Korea".

Order my Watch 3 yesterday and will be delivered today. 24 hours. No upgrade fee. No shipping fee. Just paid taxes and out the door. I guess being with T-Mobile for 19 years has its privileges.

Wasn't planning on upgrading but recently noticed that my Note 20 Ultra doesn't have the same sensors that my Note 8 had. Nor does my Gear S3 Frontier have the same sensors as the Watch 3.

So, I ended up doing the trifecta when it came to upgrading this year. I wasn't going to do it, but I did.

Note 10+ to Note 20 Ultra
2019 Buds (not the Buds+) to Buds Live
Galaxy Watch to Galaxy Watch 3

I have to say, I am SOOOOO happy I did. The phone, well, not much I can say other than I LOVE IT.
The Buds Live work great for me. I love how I don't have to jam them in my ear. However, I have my old buds in case I need more sound isolation.

For me though, but BIGGEST leap forward was the Watch. This Watch 3 is just nicer in SO many ways than my Watch. The screen is more vibrant and responsive. More features and for me, the battery lasts longer. I wear the watch damn near 23 hours a day. I just need an hour to charge while I take a shower in the morning and get myself ready for work. I have a fun watch face that gives me all the information I want at a glance and the physical device is so nice.

All in all, I think the Watch 3 is to the watch series that the Note 20 Ultra is to the Note series. The pinnacle of years of work, tweaks and features coming together to make a great pairing of devices. Add the Buds Live and you have the best mobile setup possible.

Of course, this is all my own opinion, but ever since I picked up an HTC G1 Test Device running Beta Android (pre-release), this is where I wished mobile would get too and it's here. Not 100%, but close for me!
