Just got the official OTA

Finally 5.0.1 was available to download this evening, hopefully they got the bugs out. Guess I will know soon.

Definitely report back and let us know if all the bugs from 5.0 have been fixed.

Just got the 5.0.1 update OTA 2013 WIFI N7. Sad to say I can't use you tube now. Showing video playback error that was in 5,0.
:-( :-( :-( :-(

I had the same error and I fixed it. Just clear the cache and data on YouTube app. Then, do the same for Google Play Services app. Reboot and that's it.

Received 5.01 this morning as well. Never did receive the 5.0 update. Took about 35 minutes in all to install. so far so good. No problems to speak of and the tablet seems very responsive. Although it seemed that way before the update as well so not an improvement there I can see. Will report back after a day of use.

Just got mine (5.01) this morning. Installation went without a hitch. Didn't do a factory reset, but everything is smooth and responsive. All apps seem to work except the Kindle App, which I read on the Kindle help forums you have to uninstall and reinstall it for it to work with Lollipop. So a heads up on that. Hopefully Lollipop will fix the severe battery drain problem that began after the Kit Kat update. Keeping fingers crossed.

The Kindle app works fine on mine with no action on my part. So far everything is working well.

Helium http://market.android.com/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup doesn't require the device to be rooted in order to backup applications & application data.
Thanks for the recommendation. However, when I looked at the recent comments, there were a distressing number of people who said it didn't work, and the developer apparently responded to no one, not even to people who had the paid version. That's a warning flag for me.

I just got it also.... And it is badass! No issues at all and my tablet is acting like it's turbocharged!

Mine was waiting for me when I got home from work last night.
No issues downloading and installing but I had a Google Play Services warning icon that an app needed to be updated that wouldn't go away. There was no idea what app was having the problem. Then this morning, it allowed me to update Google Play Services and the warning is gone.
My only small gripe is not getting the unlock screen when it wakes up, that I have to tap the lock to get to the password screen.
Loving Lollipop.

I'm OK with 5.0 on mine. Interesting thing.. On 4.4 Real Racing 3 got really laggy if I hadn't rebooted in a couple days. That doesn't happen now. However, after playing, the entire tablet becomes a lagfest unless I clear the game from Recents. Once I do that it's fine.

On 4.4 Real Racing 3 I had the same issues with lag.
