Just picked up a fascinate :) need guidance

He guys... after all the researching i decided to get a fascinate! coming from a samsung rogue... this thing is amazing!!!! I just need a bit of help.

I have installed launcher pro (bought the full version), bought beautiful widgets and that weather and toggle widgets. also got facebook, backgrounds, directv, dolphin, google earth, home switcher, jorte, google maps, handscent sms, quadrant standard, pandora, and a few more.

my questions are:
-How do i make my pandora into that horizontal widget?
-When i make my messaging handscent sms, i get a text and the notification in the notification bar on top never goes away unless i read it with the default messenger...how can i make that go away?
-my quadrant score is only 874...is that terribly low? how can i get that up?
-lastly, what other suggestions do ppl have? I am a complete noob

Well I can answer 2 questions. You have to go into the native messaging app's settings and uncheck the notfications option, its near the bottom. And the other, the Pandora horizontal widget, just long press on the screen, click widgets and scroll down to Pandora.

I just picked up mine on Friday and so far he only change from the stock fascinate I've made is the keyboard. Using better keyboard. I've had a couple android phones before so I'm used to switching things around.

if you switch keyboards... does swype still work? whats the best keyboard app?

also, i figured out pandora and the texting issue... i just wish that with handcent... the green messaging unlock puzzle piece would still appear.
