Just received the newer version of Seidio Innocase II, seems more rubberized inside

First Innocase, is wear on outside normal after 1 week?

I ordered a Seidio Innocase II and there are already two worn spots on the front after less than a week of ownership and gentle handling. Does the outside colored material wear off this easily on all their cases?

I see I also have the older model with the glossy black finish inside so requested a replacement with the new model since this one does have movement, in addition to the early wear spots. I will give the newer model a try and if that doesn't work maybe I will try the Active case out.

How can they change a production line so fast though?
I am still skeptical, but at least they are attempting to correct the issue.

That's exactly what I was saying a few posts back. I find it hard to believe Seidio was able to halt production of the bad cases, figure out how to fix them, and then mass produce enough to supply with Amazon and other buyers so they do not sell the junk ones.

As fraz already confirmed, Amazon is still selling the defective cases even though Seidio assured everyone that they would be sold the corrected ones if bought through Amazon.

I went through Amazon for a replacement blue case, and the 2nd case should be here Wednesday. I highly doubt this replacement will be the revised case either, but if that one turns out to be loose/defective, it'll go back to them and i'll just get a refund and wait a few months as I still have the black active case and loving that.

Waiting for my Innocase II to come in from Seidio. Hopefully I wont have any of these issues, after all, its just a case.

I just got the new case today. It's very nice, seems way more sturdy and fits the phone better.

Never used a case like this before, just got mine today. Ordered it on the 25th, it does *not* seem to be one of these "new" style cases, but I like it.

just got my new replacement. you can tell that it is redesigned not by the felt (since that's the same) but rather, that the inside has a rubber coating

this is completely squeak free

Ordered a replacement

I purchased the Platinum version at Best Buy and am too having the problems. I contacted Seidio and they directed me to this website: WSRMA REQUEST FORM FOR AUTHORIZED RESELLER

Fill out the form, and that's that. I'm not sure, though, if I have to pay for the shipping or if they will. Still, saving $30 bucks... can't beat that.

Give it like a week and then see if it still squeak free. Chances are it won't be.

Just got my 2ND BLUE Replacement Innocase via Amazon today and its the exact same case as the 1st one I received (1st generation) and does not have the extra felt nor the "rubbery" inside.

With this being said Amazon definitely does not have the newer revised seidio cases. If this 2nd case fails on me, its going back for a refund and i'll give up on the innocase.

the new ones don't have extra felt, rather they just have the rubber

Not sure why you guys are going back to the retailer to exchange? Like you assumed, they are not going to have new/updated version in yet.

Do just what JTHESPARTAN said above, go to that link. Seidio will ship you out a new one...

Going back to Amazon to exchange because their turnaround time for the return is one day with prime membership and free 2nd day shipping. I called in about it yesterday - today I received the new case. Also their CS is great. If you have a problem with anything, they'll take care of you.

I just contacted Siedio again to see if mine will be replaced. 2nd attempt... last attempt.

Well the second case that I received from Seidio, which did have the new rubberized, instead of plastic area was fine for the last week, but all of sudden it is loose on top again. Unless Seidio put felt on the top, I guess it will keep loosening up. I guess I have to go back to Body Glove until, either Seidio fixes the case so it doesn't loosen up, or when I can find another case that will fit on tight and not scratch the inside. Any other suggestions? Otterbox and Casemate are not available yet. Are Gels better? If so which Gel?

These cases are nice, but the fit is disappointing. Both versions suck. I ended up using some felt and electrical tape to make my THIRD case fit. Now it is nice and tight, and hopefully it will not scratch up my phone at all.

I am waiting on the Otterbox one as well. I have heard nothing but positives about their products.

As for a decent Gel case, I picked up the HTC one that Sprint sells and as of right now I like it. My only gripe is it attracts any dust or lint on the inside of your pocket to it, but it takes all of 30 seconds to clean it off. You kind of expect this though with any Silicon case.

It's also not too thick, but thick enough that it makes it so the camera lens on the back doesn't touch the surface you set it on which should prevent it from scratching up. The black one has a semi tacky feeling so it will grip in your hand, but I noticed the pink one my wife has is a lot more smooth and slick feeling.

Just a little update. My second version, the old new revision that had rubberized on top and bottom within a week got loose again. So I called Seidio and they said they updated it again. I just received the new update of the updated version of Seidio Innocase II. This time it still is rubberized inside, but now the felt covers the top inside, but the bottom still has the felt the old way. I have to let you know how this goes. It is nice that Seidio listened to me. I ask them to put felt on the top besides the new rubberized area and they did.

Here are a few pictures of the update now.

Good to hear they added even more felt please keep us updated after a week or so.

I sent my 2nd one back to amazon and asked for a refund... I got fed up with the hassle of the innocase.
