just rooted and flashed bamf forever

i did a search and read countless posts.

first let me say thank you to everyone on this forum. Its been a blessing. i love my phone and all the tweaks available.

im having an issue with the htc 3.0 lock screen. for some reason there are no apps that you can load right from the lock screen.. i see in the personalize menu where i can change and manipulate what apps appear. but its always a blank lock screen.. no weather no icons just my wall paper and the lock screen draggable circle.. any help on this?

could be a bad load on the ROM. Try reflashing?

it was there at one point.. and then was gone.. reflashing seems more of a last resort no? then ill have to re install the apps and data right?
does launcher pro have something to do with this? thank you

Are you using launcher pro? That would seem to defeat the purpose of using a sense ROM.

im not but i did check back to it, then went back to htc sense

if you re flash then yes you will need to install all the apps again, on the ginger roms they dont (but I like that). It is highly possibly that launcher pro is causing the prob.. uninstall launcher pro and then restart.. see what happens then,

But you have used the personalization option to choose what apps appear on the lock screen? You can try unchecking the sense 3.0 lock screen, rebooting, re checking and rebooting again.

i did.. i chose the lock screen and apps .. applied. but i have NO apps or weather on the lockscreen.. ill try to disable the 3.0 lock and reannable it.

I see in the bamf forever thread you used titanium to restore data...did you restore system data?

Contacts should be stored by google and are restored automatically without any work in your part. You can also save app data (hard work in angry birds, settings in gmail etc) but system data is a no no. I use my back up pro, my knowledge of titanium is limited in the options it gives you in saving and restoring. You are pretty much doomed to re flash. While you are new to the rom game (or if you start modding) it's a good idea to have a clean slate nandroid. Load the ROM, let google and the market do it's thing, make nandroid, go crazy...

*please do try to turn off the lock screen and turn it back on first*

i already did try to disable and enable lockscreen

so ok.ill reflash.. do i need to flash back to my original rom then back to my bamf.. or can i just wipe the two caches again and reflash the same rom>? thank you!
