I remember when I only bought unlimited text for 20 bucks, as soon as the ov and beyond talk plans popped up I jumped on that stuff. I miss my $25 plan, but the evo is worth it.

Did you see the link two posts above yours? It's possible to get the $25 plan on the Evo.

i am going to try it on the one v (heard it works too) which is on sale 150$ at radioshack. gonna give my ov to my dad if this holds out.

I swapped back to OV to see if some texting issues was on VM's side or my phone a while ago. Whenever I went to change my plan it didn't have the option for the $25. It didn't show any link to "don't see the plan you want" or whatever. Just went back to check right now, and it's still not an option. Seems pretty weird.

I know that one of my friends did it 2 nights ago and it worked
My plan switched as of yesterday and i have had no issues

I love the optimus v. I've been using it for 2 years and i can't bring myself to switch because of the 25 dollar fee with free hotspot. I mean how is that even real? 12 years ago i was paying 30 a month for 300 minutes on a classic Nokia phone with no internet.

I'm curious to see how long will virgin let people be grandfathered?

You were lucky-- I paid $30 for 30 min when the whole cellphone thing started
anyway I have been in the $25 with my optimus since I got it when it recently came out.

Nope, sorry, it's already been cut off. And furthermore, there's speculation, and that's all it is at this point, that all $25 plans will be bumped up to $35 by November.

So i just read, hopefully not but if that's the case then i will have to wait till black Friday and hopefully their i phones will go on sale because they still have 30 dollar plans for them
