It comes from a source at a hardware manufacturer that I completely trust, but hasnt even been given to Verizon to begin to think about testing.. I was asked to remove it and I did so.. better to correct a mistake then let one continue.

Guys, relax. black_man_x most likely just had a knee-jerk reaction to some juicy information and then decided in retrospect that it wasn't information he should have shared until he could confirm from other sources that it was indeed true.

I understand and can appreciate your honesty on the matter. Sometimes the excitement of the moment has us posting things that we realized shouldn't be.

On a further note and having read your posts and following you on twitter, given the 10th or 17th for the ThunderBolt I believe you have stated the 17th is the more likely date. Has there been any indication that it will change and move to the 10th?

Logically, that tells me it would be a while before we would see anything if they do decide to test whatever they are thinking about testing. That would be a long wait to hold on to our upgrades. Let us know if you any more info. Thanks BMX.

After getting locked in for two years to unlimited 4G data, I'll be buying full retail anyway, so NE2 won't make a difference to me. If it's a quad-core, 3D-capable T-Bolt 2 like I believe it will be (although Qualcomm says that chip will be released at that time, so devices with it would be released later next year) then I will wet my pants.

HTC knows how to make the perfect device. I may have to work there in the future, although I don't think I will like Seattle :/

It's really not about the TB. It's about knowing you have people on the edge of their seats waiting for information (since it seems many rely on him for inside information)... so rather than prematurely post about something your not supposed to why not just wait until you can?

Like I said before, I appreciate "inside" information as much as the next guy but to post something to get chatter going just to say "oops, sorry, I shouldn't have posted that" is a lil over the top. This is the 2nd time he's done something like that (posted something just to remove it) in as many weeks from what I recall.

But that's just my opinion. It reminds me of that commercial where the guy asks the little girl if she wants to ride the bike only to tell her to keep the bike in the circle.
