On my iPhone, there was a built in way to backup an exact image of my phone to the cloud. Is there a way to do this on the Galaxy? I know Google Drive backs up my contacts and texts and stuff, but I want to backup an exact image including all my apps, settings, and the order in which my apps are setup on the home page. What is the easiest way to do this?

Yes, it's called Samsung Cloud. Rolling out to S7's in the latest update. If it's not yet already available in your country it will be soon.

I'm im the US. Is it available here? I have an Android 6.0.1, what version do I need? Do I have to wait for Nougat?

Sorry, there isn't.
You can backup your apps and settings, but if you restore, it won't setup your home screen or widgets.

Actually Samsung Cloud has that functionality. It can backup home screen layouts and widgets.

It's included in the latest September monthly security update.

I got the update today, glad to finally see a backup/restore feature! The samsung cloud and gallery update are very Apple like but I like the implementation. Really happy I made the switch, have embraced the customisation and freedom that Android gives you.
