So after two weeks with my sprint Gnex the only issue I have is a slight vertical banding on the display, its most noticeable on dark gray back grounds. After reading a ton of posts it seems to be a common problem. So is it worth a swap. Who knows ? Does your Gnex screen have issues? I want to hear if it does.

My Galaxy Nexus hasn't had many issues.
One of the issues that I've had is some problem staying connected to Sprint's 3G network. The phone always will disconnect from 3G and data in general (bars turn white and no 3G icon.) It takes a bit for the phone to turn on 3G and then connect to the data network (blue bars with 3G icon.) I haven't seen any other phone with this issue, even the Verizon Galaxy Nexus.
The battery life also isn't very amazing. I had the Galaxy S III right before the Galaxy Nexus and there is a huge difference in battery life. The GSIII can last days on a single charge while the Galaxy Nexus has issues going through a full day most of the time. I just got the extended battery for free which could help solve that issue.

Eh, I'm happy with mine, except for the horrible battery life on 3G. Wi-Fi battery if pretty good 
I'm having MMS issues. Talk about annoying when such a basic feature can't be used or fixed. I've called sprint multiple times and to me they don't care as long as I continue to pay my bill.

Any alternatives closer to the stock messenging app? I don't like the go SMS interface.
