Just used Samsung pay

Re Samsung Pay, I've been using it everywhere for months. One big advantage to using Pay is that the vendor does not get your real credit card number. So go ahead Target and get hacked. I don't care because you never get my real number.
Also it doesn't seem to work if you try to use it while you're running an exercise program (running, walking). You have to close that first. When I first got the watch, I thought it didn't work (or didn't always work) at some stores, but then I realized this only happened while I was keeping track of an activity.

I recently started using Samsung Pay over Android Pay. Much more reliable and consistent. Even some terminals w/Android Pay signs didn't work w/Android Pay. I switched over to Samsung Pay and it worked instantly.

Wal-Mart seems to give me brief when I try to use Samsung Pay and I get an error every time.
I have successfully used it at Walmart multiple times what you need to do is process it as a debit transaction and it should work each time

Over 10 years since I saw a slide magnetic credit card reader.
I use AP everyday. Works great.
Where do you live? They're all over here. Many take the chip cards but still have the slide side for cards.

Edinburgh, Scotland.
Chip and Pin been mandatory since 2006 or so.

AP has a £30 per transaction limit though. The same as any contactless payment here.

Love Samsung pay! I don't even remember the last time I used plastic. Points are stacking up!

After making 50 transactions in a month, how else can you get points? I'm less than 300 points away from getting a Gear VR coupon and have already made 50 transactions this month. I know some people say using Bixby gives points but that doesn't seem to work for me, went from Level 5 to Level 7 and didn't get any points.

No it will not work at gas pumps because they usually use a mechanical card reader which is different. The gas pump card readers require a physical press and release before the card is read. This is why you have to press in then remove. I've tried a few of the NFC pay options and those also struggle to work with Samsung Pay

Not true, I use it at gas pumps. I put my driver's license in to trick the pump to active the reader then put my phone up to it, works flawlessly.

I have not tried it, but supposedly there is something called the "Gas Pump Trick" that can work. Essentially you put in your driver's license to trigger that mechanical switch, then hold the phone up to be read.

I seem to get an error that I need to use the chip reader most of the time. Anyone else have this issue?
