Keeping or Returning?

Definitely keeping. What are you all saying about the Bionic sinking???? LOL.

Going on 13 hours of almost CONSTANT usage (downloading everything under the sun, customizing, talking for over 3h on the phone, etc) today and my battery still has 18% at 11:19pm tonight!

I don't see the pixillation on the screen that some are noting. I have the Droid X here for a side by side comparison and the Bionic's screen is hands down nicer, brighter, sharper and waaaay easier to read outside in the sun. Actually, it's the best screen to read outside of any device except for my Kindle. Very happy about that.

Camera sucks. So does my Droid X. So does my original D1. They all suck! Except maybe the iphone, which is just mediocre. Video with full HD is pretty sweet on the Bionic, by the way.

Speed is incredible. Phone sound is super clear. All my apps are humming and not a single glitch or reboot or anything after much use today including installing 30+ apps.

What I absolutely hate about it is the darn battery cover. But that's not a deal killer. If only they stuck with the Droid X design for the darn door...

So 95% satisfied, definitely keeping.

I am keeping it for sure, I dont have a problem with the screen, I do not have 4g in my house, and its pretty spotty in my area anyways from what I can tell, but its a hell of a phone, super fast, battery is doing great since I took off the buautiful weather widget.

those of you with crappy battery usage, try removing some of those widgets. live wall papers, widgets and such suck up battery life. best phone I have had so far.

I think it's pretty clear that the Bionic is sinking faster then the Titanic. The camera issues, battery and medicore screen is starting to build up steam. What I see here is a highly anticipated phone getting knocked out in the first round. Here is the deal, you take away 4G from this phone and it sinks to the bottom. The only reason and I mean the only reason this phone will outsell the Droid X2 is because of 4G and nothing else. Single core, dual core, triple core, whatever....the Bionic does not deliver the goods. Sorry to burst some folks bubbles but as others have said, the truth hurts sometimes.

I am going on 20 hours with the extended battery. Still have 30% left.

If my Droid X didn't get stolen, I'd be happy with that. 24 hrs between charges, occasionally 26-28.

I concede that the 4G phones will have lower life than the 3G ones...but getting less than half the battery life I used to is not a good look.

Ill be returning the Bionic tomorrow and going back to my iPhone 4. I really wanted to like the Bionic, and I do like many things about it, but the iPhone is just so much more polished all around and I enjoyed my experience with it more. The screen on the Bionic really doesn't bother me, but there is annoying light leakage under the capacitive buttons and for some reason there's some crazy wallpaper glitch that won't allow me to put up a custom wallpaper without erasing it when I put the phone to sleep. Im also on a capped plan, and I don't think having a 4G phone is worth the price unless you have unlimited. Sorry guys : (

Keeping mine, with extended battery get almost 24 hours out of it. Screen looks fine. No other issues for me, great phone.

Yes they are both qHD but they are different all 3. I have seen others write about a "chain link" appearance and I guess that is what I was seeing on the Bionic. I am going to go up to the store and check out the display on the one they have in the store, maybe I had a bad egg.

I'll keep it for a year and then dump it for the next thing. It's a keeper for me despite battery life being quite terrible and bad camera. I just love how quick it is. Getting the extended battery to help me along.

Conditioned my battery and have been getting above average usage. I laugh at those that say you don't need to do it. I guess the small amount of time it takes to condition a battery is soooo detrimental. Well, I guess if you do do it and it helps you won't be able to complain about it.

-condition battery how, if you dont mind detailing...full charge - full drain - full charge - full drain...repeat a few times?

I was thinking the same thing. My tv has the SDE (screen door effect) and it's only 5 years old.

Overall, I love the phone. I notice the screen, but it doesn't really bother me. The only reason my battery dies quickly is because I use Latitude, which tends to be 1/3 of my batter usage >_< Even then, I'm still getting 15+ hours out of it.

I had the light leak as well. That along with bat battery and camera are why I'm returning it.

Im 100% happy with it. But im coming from a samsung fascinate, albeit suped up, and that thing was buggy as hell. Thats why i waited for the bionic instead of jumping on the charge, samsung frameworksucks.

Returning. Upgrading from a DROID eris this phone is great in comparison . For $300 though I was expecting a lot more. The camera is barely better than my 3 year old eris and the static on the earphones is annoying. Both I could live with but with the nexus prime in sight and android 4.0...it almost feels dumb to hang onto this phone as it is my last new every two.
