I have a question can any kernal be flashed with any rom?

No. GB kernels are for 2.3, ICS kernels are for 4.0 as well as 2.2 is for froyo.

They can be flasged, but will bork alot of things. Highly not recommended.

If had zero problems flashing kernels on the same android version. eg. tvalls GB Kernel on ICSandwhich GB ROM and vise versa .. although im not sure i can explain how that works :-[ and what roms are interchangeable
