Can you lay down in simple man's terms the main differences from your Control Freak Kernals to your BAMF 4.x.x kernals?

If you don't plan on adjusting anything in the kernal at all (running as downloaded from you) is it worth jumping from 4.4.7 to 1.9 CF version?

(I'm on 1.6.3 and 1.9 with NO issues whatsoever....smooth and fast like all the rest...)

Just trying to figure out the benefits!

Right now, the cf kernels have these benefits:

Complete control over voltage.

Complete control over the smartass governor.

Enhanced conservative and interactive governors.

They also have the "potential" disadvantages of having call recorder support only.

Total newb question: What are the differences/similarities between cf 2.0 and 4.4.7? I'm sort of wondering. I'm assuming cf 2.0 will run on my TB with bamf remix 1.6.3, but wasn't sure if there's a performance and battery improvement with cf 2.0. Are customization of the governors the only difference?

The governors are what increase performance AND extend battery life when done right.
Adrynalyne is part of the BAMF development effort.
Although most will tell you any Kernal will work with any ROM (Sense based or CM based excluded), I'd say you can bet your rent that any Adrynalyne kernal will work perfectly with any BAMF ROM...I don't think I'm going on a limb saying his kernals are tested with BAMF ROMs more than anyone else's.

hey guys, im running a rooted TB but havnt loaded any custom rom's yet. Ive decided against it for now due to previous experiences with my droid 1 but i was curious if this is something ud recommend for a "stock software" TB?...

Im somewhat a newbie. How do you utilize the call recording feature on 4.3a?
