OK every thing appears to be working fine except I cant seem to log into my Google account keeps telling me I have an incorrect password. I wonder if this could be because I have the extra layer of security through gmail ... cant remember what its called but they sms you a code you are supposed to enter in addition to your password.

this is great. All seems to work pretty good. However, I have no MMS. I added my APN using the RedPocket app from the market, but no MMS.
Thansk for the ROM, it works just fine.

That one just kinda worked with the stock p505 gb kernel. I added that in, and added an old bb fix..

He should be able to do it to any stock ROM, but not MIUI or CM7 they are different enough that we need a custom kernel to run them. As it stands that is the road block we have on running any of the custom gingerbread ROM. We have a mess of kernels that almost work but all of them are missing something like wifi.

You can use that rom with no issue. If you flash arjens ICS kernel, you will not have the blackscreen bug. I am actually using that rom now. The only issue is that you will not have wifi. Im actually using GTR. if you have any issues with the screen flickering or acting up... its because of the overclock. just set min to 320 and max to 600 and that issue will be resolved.

I used it and it has a screen fit error and it once flashed an error.screen like you get on a PC then shut down so I'm back on cyanogenmmatt v1.1

Yeah. I'm back on cyanogenmmatt with jobans kernel and its running fine. The lockscreen bug isn't as bad.

I'm not sure why but flashing this rom, JoyOS 1.1.9 - xda-developers with arjens lgp505icskernel-19062012.zip and wifi and everything is working fine. It's definitely 7.2 based rom. I haven't tried other GB roms. I flashed joban's kernel right after the rom, and it wouldnt boot. so without wiping or anything i just flash arjens kernel. it booted perfect after that. Also no blackscreen bug and can OC.
