[KERNEL][ICS] Matr1x Kernels

ah...maybe that's it. My kernel version says:
3.0.14-ck1-bfs-gcaa7e4c-dirty
shankar@Matr1x#38

Is this still v14 or v14.5? I'm not exactly familiar with the naming schemes above

Mine is the v14.5 with colors and mine is the same as yours but ends with Matr1x#40 but not sure if it's different # with colors as I didn't check the # without the colors flash.

I just flashed the colors, mine now has #40 at the end

Just in case anyone else is wondering, Version 14.5 NDS without colors does end in "Matrix#38".

Matr1x v14.5 - Colors

Kernel version

3.0.14-ck1-cfs-gcaa7e4c-dirtyshankar@Matr1x #39

Note this is the CFS build

If you have a #38 then that is mostlikely the v14.0 build.

Ok I haven't really had time to check here often, but oh boy I missed a lot lol

First off 38 is a 14.5 build. If you flash the original cfs 14.5 build (not colors) the build number that shows is the number where 14.5 starts off. Remember that there are cfs and bfs builds.

Curtl, that's pretty rude if you ask me. Paul, there's no need

That thread should help.

Thanks for popping in MK

What settings are you guys running with kernel?

This is a very stable kernel, so it really depends on your device and how it handles kernel changes...

Most people go for better battery.. In that case you would need to adjust your kernel to something like 100/800 Mhz... Lazy governor...

Re: [KERNEL][ACS]*Matr1x* [ALL VERSIONS including ICS]

Speaking of battery, I'm currently sitting at 22 hours with 63% battery remaining. I. LOVE. THIS. KERNEL.

100/1000 mhz
lulzactive governer:
inc CPU load 70%
Pump Up 3
Pump Down 2
min step 7@100
up sample 2000
down sample 3500
Deep Idle on.
Undervolted fairly aggressively.

Relatively light use, a bunch of texts, couple of phone calls, a few Emails, Google search or two, crapload of time without signal because Sprint coverage sucks here. WiFi on. Screen brightness auto.

I'm still on the same charge. Granted I havent used the thing much since I discovered Star Wars The Old Republic lol. Im at 20% battery at 56 hours. Considering I'm off work tomorrow and probably won't really use the phone, I wanna see how close I get to a full 72 hours. Im cheating a little and dropped the CPU speed to 800, but I just wanna see if I can manage a full 3 days. It's made a couple more phone calls and a crapload of texts, but haven't done much web browsing or the like.

Re: [KERNEL][ACS]*Matr1x* [ALL VERSIONS including ICS]

Made it to 68 hours with 3% battery left, before I needed to make a phone call so it got plugged in. I love my phone so much more now :D

Re: [KERNEL][ACS]*Matr1x* [ALL VERSIONS including ICS]

Version update...

v15.0 is out.. Check the OP.

Thanks MK!
