Keyboard and fullscreen videos keep closing

[Android Central Question]

Whenever watching fullscreen videos. The screen will minimize randomly. Even when not even holding phone. Doesn't matter what app you use YouTube, Netflix, chrome all do the same.
Keyboard also randomly closes while typing.

The same youtube problem is present in the google maps aswell. This happens every 2-5 minutes and it's pretty annoying while texting a long message or watching a movie. Or driving with google maps.

I did, nothing happened. I have used the Galaxy switch app to transfer data from a S8 to a S10 last year, and now from the S10 to the S20. I don't know if that's relevant. The truth is I don't want to hard reset it cause I have so much stuff in it..

Thank you for the videos, do you have developer settings on and if so you messed with any settings?

No, the developer mode is off. However, it was activated on my old phones from which I transferred the data and settings.

I was thinking flashing the firmware with Odin with an identical soft: G981BXXUBDUI5. Will that erase any data? If I remeber well I did it a couple of times without loosing anything.

If its same model number just use Home CSC in Odin CSC slot and it won't factory reset

As an update for everyone else having this problem. I factory reset the phone and flashed the firmware via odin and the glitch has disappeared. I tested it whole day long, the phone is working as intended. I couldn't figure what the problem was, but imo, I believe it had something to do with my old phone, an S10, who's touch screen didn't worked on the very top part of the screen. I transferred all data and settings from that S10 to this S20 via Smart Switch app and I believe that was the issue. I can't be sure tho.

Try using Google Gboard if it still happens?

I was actually using Google Gboard when the problem first arose and then I switched to the default keyboard to try and I fix the problem

Do you mean you have a screen protector or case? If so, try taking them off. Screen protectors can cause phantom touches if they don't fit well.

Try without the case first, but it's more likely the screen protector.
