keyboard clicks

Is there anyway to change the default keyboard sound other than changing it to haptic feedback? I can't stand the typewriter sound and its way too loud even with volume turned down

The sound is the same weather using the Motorola keyboard swift key or ics keyboard

Settings > Language & keyboard > select the keyboard under "Keyboard settings" that you are using > uncheck the "Sound on keypress" option.

I do want a sound on keyboard presses just not the typewriter clicking. There was a much more subtle sound on my prior fascinate and stratosphere with the keyboard
