Keyboard shortcuts in Chrome browser?

Is there any way to use keyboard shortcuts in Chrome? On my normal computer with a keyboard I use j and I all the time on digg.com, Facebook etc and I would love do something like that on my tablet. It is way easier than scrolling with the touch screen. Tried to find an app for it but new to Android, suggestions?
