What are some different keyboards people are using with their tbolt? Besides the stock one.

Looking for a different one

I've used both SwiftKey and Swype, but I by far prefer SwiftKey. It learns the more you use it, and it's prediction capabilities is scarely accurate a lot of the times. Get the free version and try it out!

I've used SwiftKey, Swype, and FlexT9.

SwiftKey is my daily driver although I do like Swype when I get bored with it.

i prefer swype because i do alot of portrait/one handed texting. However i tried swiftkey which was better for 2 handed/landscape texting. It depends on your usage. It was difficult with the swiftkey for 1 handed operation to tap each letter with the big phone. I have gotten used to it with swype because i just .... well...swype and don't tap.

I've tried FlexT9 and Swype. Both are pretty good vis-a-vis swyping functionality, but FlexT9 is better at learning, and worse at handling punctuation and capitalization. FlexT9 also has good voice input, though I seldom used it. Swype has the editing layer (select text, select all, arrows, delete key, etc.), which I use all the time, and it is easier to edit mistakes with Swype entry.

So I use Swype, but would go back to FlexT9 if it improved its editing capabilities.

FlexT9 is the best of all of them in my opinion because it is such a great combination of the best parts of different ones

I tried swiftkey for a few days and while it is impressive with learning your style and prediction I wasn't happy with it beginning my sentences. I love the stock keyboard but will be trying swype and seeing if it works as well as I have heard.

I've tried Swype's Beta, but there are still some bugs I could not live with, and recently I loaded Swiftkey... Swiftkey is great, and I just loaded the latest Beta version and have not found one issue... I'll stick with Swiftkey.

Swiftkey for me, have tried Swype, Ultra Keyboard, stock and Smart Leyboard Pro and always come back to Swiftkey.

Thumb Board is the one i have been using and i absolutely love it, its quick to get used to and the odd layout is really helpful

I have tried swoftkey before and for some reason it seemed a little laggy when I wad trying to type and it did it just wouldn't keep up. But thanks for your input. Where could I get a swype that actually works right, cuz I tried it before and not all the features worked.

Haha so I just switched to swiftkey after reading all the replies and everytime I switch a keyboard I always end up going right back to smart keyboard.

I got SwiftKey when it was free on Amazon. And I have stayed with it since. It is a nice keyboard and I really like it.

I used Swype when I had Fascinate as it was built in. Swype was good but now I prefer SwiftKey.
