I like the stock sense keyboard. Never had a problem with it.

However...

I've tried the Gingerbread keyboard and didn't care for it since it didn't offer any significant advantages for me over the Sense version.

I've tried Swiftkey and didn't like the look nor the result

I've tried Flex T9 and didn't care for it either

I tried Swype and liked it but went back to stock since it didn't integrate with the overall look of the Sense

Then I got a mixed version of Flex T9 integrated with Swype by way of HTC for the Doubleshot. It looks and behaves like a Sense keyboard but with Swype flexibility. It's my current default keyboard now.
