Connecting. What am I missing? Tried multiple USB ports, reinstalled 3 times, manually downloaded drivers from Samsung website. Why is this so hard? I used to run HTC sync with ease. For what its worth I am not really tech savy. So please go easy on me.:D

having same problem, what did you figure out?

check mark USB debugging, uninstalled and reinstalled Kies several times, manually installed drivers from Samsung website, restarted computer. Finally worked.

I as well have the same issue... I just try to avoid using keys but want to back stuff up with it or use it to install movies or music... I may have to bite the bullet here soon. If there is a fix out there would be helpful. Have tried all the above mentioned fixes as well. My computer is older but it's not a dinosaur or anything...

1. Make sure to install Samsung drivers
2. If your PC is older make sure to have Windows Media Player 10 or above (Needed for MTP to work).
3. Reboot PC

Thanks I will give it a try when I get a chance. By older I mean 5 or so years old. Still a dual core processor and 4 gigs of ram. Running vista (I know...) so it runs pretty fast but not the latest technology.

I will try installing the drivers again and see if it works. Thanks for the tips.
