KIES - USB Connection - Yes I know its a continuing problem

:-[. However I bought the Galaxy S 3 I9300. and have to work round this program :-[
Until Version: 2.5.3.13033_13 came out earlier this week and shortly after Version: 2.5.3.13033_14; (Update date: 2013.04.24 ) the USB would eventually connect as described . It has now stopped connecting, overnight. Anyone else with the same problem with these updates

Hi Malcolm. I am having problems with my 2 laptops (work and personal, both on Windows 7) detecting my S3.

I reinstalled my Kies, but the Kies and Windows Explorer are both not detecting my S3.

I will try to research more online, if there is a permanent fix for this. Have you found any by any chance?

Curious what we would use the online Kies for??
I don't even use my computer for this phone or the s3.
Am I missing something?

A lot of people manage/sync their phones using Kies. I use Kies for update to the Android/Samsung OS.

I copied some files off of my office colleague (transferred to my External hard drive) and want to move them from the hard drive to the S3.. when I connect both of them to the PC, the S3 isn't detected.

Hi Guys
I'm having the exact same problem as Malcolm with my S3! Any word yet on a solution? I tried everything suggested on other forums, re-installing, debugger uncheck/check, etc etc but no success. no help from samsung support either.
