Android Central Question

I am trying to watch a movie on my Kindle Fire, using a flash drive. The problem is that the basic DOS file format, which is readable by the Kindle Fire, can not handle files above a certain size. (at least not on any of my flash / thumb drives.)

Apparently the Kindle Fire can handle DOS but NOT EX-FAT or NTFS.

If I want to watch a video file that's 8 or 10GB on the Kindle Fire, do I have any options?

Thanks!

Amazon didn't want to pay MS for the ex-fat driver, so SD cards are stuck with fat32. You will have to either format the SD as internal memory (not recommended) or copy your video to the actual internal memory if you have the room.
