I have downloaded suga-free.

Place the zip on your sdcard.Then boot into recovery(power off phone the hold home don't release press power holding home til recovery pops up(balck/green menu) Now go to wipe, wipe data,dalvik,ext.Then press back once you should now see flash zip from sdcard,choose that.Then choose Sugar-free,press home wait til its done then reboot phone.

I'm gunna try my other computer, because when my phone is plugged it to the puter, i cant access the removable drive, but root worked when I went to install it. It's weird. I dont think I ever formatted the sd when I pulled it from my blackberry, is that maybe the problem?

It could be not to sure on that.If it still gives you problems id try it.Just remeber you will erase everything from sdcard when formatting.

**Edit make sure you choose to mount the sdcard when you plug into cp.

No you would still have root and the recovery.Formatting will just erase the stuff on card.

I loaded this ROM tonight and I loved it, but I seem to have an isolated problem that I hope someone can help me with. EVERY 2.1 rom that I put on my phone causes it to randomly reboot. As long as I have the 1.5 on it, its runs fine and never reboots. What possibly can be in the 2.1 roms that does this to my phone?

Can you give a little detial does it happen when the phone goes to sleep,or just reboots whenever it wants too?

Ive had it happen to me on a rom but don't remeber which one.My brians really fried today,or i could probably be more help.Been tearing apart and testing all day.Im going to try an find the rom that was giving me this prob and try to logcat it so i can try to fix,hopefully.

I feel ya there it drove me crazy when it was happening to me.I also found out that if you set your phone down hard enough it'll shut down.lolI don;t think thats your prob just something i did one day in anger.If i figure it ill make sure to pm you.

Going to try the Sugar free version right now. I had the option 4 before which ran amazing. Going to see what happens here . Thanks again beezy for your work

So, i have had this for a little while and so far it runs great. One thing that i did notice though is in my room where i used to get the 3G i only get 1G for some reason now. So, i updated the PRL which normally would fix the problem but it actually went into roaming. lol ..did it one more time and back to the 3G and after 10 min or so back to 1G. Not sure why this is happening cause 3G should not be effected.. Going to restart the whole phone right now and see what happens.

Other then that i think the new version is running great. No issues with sound, or anything else that people have been experiencing.

edit....So as expected.. as soon as i finished typing that post...back to Ev.. lol

Okay I installed the sugar free and am having one problem. I can not seem to use adb when I type in adb devices command to connect it is stating no permissions. any ideas.

Make sure usb debugging is selected.

Are running windows? I (adb) into all the roms before i uploaded.

No I am using Linux. I didn't have a problem with the older 2.1 Option 3 Rom. Do you think that might be the issue?
