he put everything their for a2sd but he hasn't activated it yet. Don't now why its not showing up anymore. I enable jit manually its fun to play with for a few but its not stable and I usually disable it after a few hours and were you forgetting to check Google apps
Here is how to enable it be prepared for issues with you phone if you use it JIT for Koush's roms ONLY soft reboots will happen

I edited my previous post as far as why apps2sd wasn't showing up. As far as the Google Alps,if you're asking if I selected the option when iflashed the rom, I selected Google & the other option (Which I believe was addons) both times. I wasnt planning on using jit, i just seen u had said it was included and i wanted to make sure it wasn't enabled. Thanks for your help.

Looks like Temp Monitor is eating battery.
What does that do? Guessing it monitors battery temp right?
If so, why not use set cpu? That also shows the battery temp. on a widget.

The dev just released an update that should help batt use. This app shows the processor temp not battery temp. You MUST use something like this when OC'ing .. my cpu temps show much higher than batt temps .. If you are not monitoring cpu temps, I would d/l something quick before you fry little droid.

Also, I only use the app not the widget. When I want to see the temp, I just click the app on my desktop .. I really don't need a widget running all the time.

The battery will go up in smoke before the CPU does, so imo its debatable on which you monitor.

Don't worry about your CPU temps with this kernel its not really bumping the voltage. I really watch my temps when running at 1.2/1.3 that's were you get big jumps in voltage and heat. I've seen my CPU temp jump up to 62c running the 1.3 kernel I wont install that one again

So was the p3 kernel any good?
Does it (p3's kernel) still give out the idle and cell standby issue? (like the standard kernel)

Not completely sure. Yet I read that some people no longer had the issue when switching kernels. They did not specify which one. That is why I asked. I am still trying to figure that one out.

I still have the cell standby issue running p3 kernel and its good I like the 7 slots it has but temp monitor doesn't refresh. It's fast though and stable. Right now in running the 1.2 at 1.1 my phone has been off the charger since 6am still have 80% battery with light usage

there is already a thread on this. its Koush's rom. but its definitely an amazing rom and the only reason why i am not unrooting my droid for the official update

that thread was created on 03-02, and from what i understand this latest version was only released a day or 2 ago. Same concept im sure, just updated. Anyways I didn't even know about the mod until seeing the youtube video today, and I am absolutely amazed by what it can do :) so much nicer than stock 2.0

out of curiosity why did Koush use ERE25 instead of ESE53. is there a specific reason or what the main setup developed before 53 was available?

yeah i completely agree. i had some kinks with it myself but after i changed some things that were recomended by other members, it runs really smooth (even if i overclock at only 600). i never installed it using the rom manager, i just used droid root pro but that def seems like another easy alternative.

His rom is neither ERE25 or ESE53. He uses the build name ERE25 so that the market thinks its an official VZW build.

hello all just my 2cents on some of the battery issues people are having, as far as cell standby eating up battery it looks like most people have cell standby at the top of the list. It is only a problem if you go into the standby icon and see that you have time without service... I got scared for like 2 min the other day when everyone was freaking out about this. I was off charger for 21 hours and battery was at 70%!!! had some voice calls text messages and emails and bluetooth on for a while. Cell standby was top of the list but never was without service.

Some one asked for the wifi tether link a few days ago but I have not been on in a while so here it is.

Downloads - android-wifi-tether - Project Hosting on Google Code

edit: i guess ill say I am not responsible for the wifi tether software in any way, just providing a link
